Great Stay
I would really give this hotel even more that a 4 star. We enjoyed our whole stay at Tierra Viva Puno. We were 2 blocks from the Plaza. We happened to stay during the carnival which was both a blessing and a noisy time. We enjoyed the excitement during the day. But the party never stopped. Which wasn't the hotel's fault at all. Staff were all awesome. Will stay again if ever in Puno.
Great service, yummy bfast, clean, great location
Expansive breakfast options & coffee, tea, filtered water offered all day. The staff at Tierra Viva were wonderful & extremely helpful. Freddy & William saved the day when our tour group forgot to pick us up from the hotel for our adventure to Lake Titicaca. William called a company he knew well & got us on a tour leaving in 3 minutes. Freddy even took the taxi with us to ensure we embarked on the correct boat. The rooms were spotless & comfortable. They even dropped off chocolates in the evenings!
Comfortable and clean
The staff are friendly and constantly making sure you're okay. The rooms are spotless and the shower was nice and warm. The location is really convenient too! Highly recommended staying here for a few nights while exploring Puno.
Excellent hotel in the middle of Puno
I had a short stay here and it had everything you could ask for: Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast, good rate. A block from Plaza de Arms and main shopping row. I would be happy to stay here again.
Great helpful staff
I stayed here for a couple nights on my way to La Paz after a long train ride from Cusco. The staff Magalia, Freddy and Albert were amazing, very helpful and professional. They advised me and helped me book excursions and connected me with the agency to buy the bus ticket to La Paz. Further, I have several conversations with them and got to learn a bit about their lives. The breakfast was really good and they had tea available 24/7. Overall this was a great place. Clean rooms and nice hot water. You can walk down to the lake from the hotel. Now that it is almost the end of 2019 I look back and think that going to Peru and Bolivia was one of the main highlights of this year. Even though I had altitude sickness it was worth going to this magical place.
