The resort was awesome Freddy was the absolute best in all aspects the master suite was glorious the swimming pool was breathtaking. The food not so much more geared towards the European crowd Beach was dirty

I think I would work my way and then down on this review. The number one thing was Ray or Rey (not sure how you spell his name) Ray was the BEST! He was extremely helpful with all our needs and accommodating and just honestly needs to be the face of this resort because he quickly turn a sour situation to a great one which kind of makes the bad part not so bad. He is amazing he assisted us with a proposal that went lovely! He just needs a raise and needs to be praised! Because of him I will consider returning.
Check In was nice! The Adult only check in lobby was accommodating and dope! Our room was nice too! No complaints there!
I did like the entertainment and the music through out was nice. I am Cuban so I do appreciate some good hispanic music now the only request would be more American top hits.
The pools were dope and loved all the pool options!
This place honestly is not covid friendly. First of all they ran out of masks for their guest and I just feel like if you are a resort then that should be complementary. Front desk at one point told me to walk outside the resort and buy some! Excuse me?!?!? One of the main things people say is do not walk outside the resort for safety and you except me to do that?!?! The restaurant does not used gloves and I thought that was odd.
Now speaking of restaurants! Buffets both adult only and regular one Trash Trash Trash! I hated it so much that I kept trying to do UberEats so eventually I would just stick with fruit and I am a big guy who can eat and eats just about anything but the food was trash!
The service of the front desk for the regular side was so poor. My brother had issues and I won’t get into it so deep because that is his experience to write but one thing I did not like what they did was laugh at our face about our issues and then talk Spanish because they think we don’t understand them and that is a big pet peeves of mine. I live in an area that is full of white hispanics so think a black man like me does not know Spanish! However I would never thought that would be the case in DR. And they would speak Spanish and talk about us bad to the point I had to respond back In spanish so they can just stop. I don’t have names but my fiancé wrote their names and they shrug there shoulders and said they don’t care.
Last point they took a long time to provide extra stuff we needed for the rooms.
PS those pics of the beach are lies! Beach was brown due to seaweed and it was horrible
Overall if you don’t care about the food and some of the rooms AC not working then book this hotel. The main reason why I give this a 2 out of 5 was because I had more negative than positive!

Perhaps this is the very first time since i’m travelling, that i regret 100% making a reservation. This is not a 5 star hotel, of this i’m absolutely sure. Before coni v here i was at another 5 star hotel, and the difference is quite noticable.
Official check in is at 3pm, we gor there and we had to wait another 20 minutes - this is still aceptable (we weren’t the only ones waiting for their room). Once we got to the room we noticed that that wasn’t the room we booked. I mentioned that to the guy who was with us (very nice guy) and he went check what was going on. He came back after a bit, saying that they have a room we booked but with two single bads. Since i didn’t want to accept that ( i was charged more for a swim out room with a King bed) he went to check further. After about one hour he came back that they have finally have a room for us - honestly i was already fed up with everything, because also overall the hotel is far from what it shows on the pictures. We checked the room they have finally got for us and the swim out it’s not a swim out - a 1,5m space for me it is not a swim out.
If you look at the staff, they are nice and they want to help you, also their english is quite ok. But again, this is not a 5 star hotel
NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

At first glance this property is lovely Check in to the Adult Only area was good, efficient and everyone was friendly.
My room was great very clean and no real problems. It was missing a blower for my hair and it took 5 calls, 2 visits to get one finally delivered. Small issue not a big deal.
The pools are lovely and because occupancy is down, lots of chairs and towels.
The good ends there.
The food is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!! If I wanted to eat local food I would go to a pica pollo and pay 2.50 for a plate of food!
At the buffet the food looks old, it is NOT appetizing and it is clearly targeting the local market. What about anything else??? In all my meals I NEVER SAW a chicken breast! I asked several times for some simple food and was told no. 3 of 4 nights I went to bed hungry at a damn all inclusive resort! My one good meal was at a specialty restaurant. It was decent and the service was good as well.
The main buffet was closed for 3 days due to low occupancy. SO everyone comes to the adult only buffet! It was overcrowded and clearly the staff are untrained. No one was enforcing Covid protocols, NO ONE was supervising damn children running around pulling food off the buffet with their hands! Good grief!
I cut my trip short and went home 2 full days early. Thats how bad it was. On the trip home my taxi driver asked about my stay. I said its beautiful but the food sucks. His response: thats what everyone says!
I am disgusted and will never go back to to this resort. I am a fan of the Be Live group! But not this one!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

This is my first ever review, because normally I have better things to do than trash talk a business; however, I feel inclined to warn others, FOR GOODNESS SAKE, do not waste your time or money by coming here. My husband and I were so excited to spend our honeymoon here but it’s been absolute hell. It would honestly take me all day to write out every bad thing about this resort but I’ll hit the high points:
The “VIP” that you pay extra for on the adults only side is a scam. We were told no when asking for top shelf liquor. We’ve been here for ten days and only 1/3 pool bars are open. The “fully stocked” mini fridge had two beers upon arrival and it hasn’t been refilled since, even after asking the front desk and cleaning staff several times for more. No butler or concierge, no welcome drink, no special VIP lounge, WiFi is absolutely horrible, no books or table games. Literally everything they sell you on is nonexistent, it’s all a lie.
Trying to get a reservation for dinner is impossible. They do not inform you upon arrival how the process works so by the time you figure it out, you are 3 days behind and stuck eating at the (mediocre at best) buffet. Which I got wickedly sick from on day 2 and still have not recovered. But rest assured there’s a doctor on site... HA! After waiting 45 minutes outside to be seen, he requires 170 USD just for a consultation + cost of any medication. Honestly that’s just taking advantage of sick individuals who have no other option. Very greedy if you ask me.
We requested a room change on day 3 because our tv was broken, sink was leaking and we had no hot water! The staff was very annoyed by this request but asked us to come at 3pm (check in time) the following day. Come 3pm, room is not ready. We wait, and wait, and wait. After an hour of sitting in the hot lobby, I ask for a status update. Still not ready, so I ask “can we just wait in our room and you knock when the new one is ready?” To which he replies yes. We head up to our room to find the maid has finished cleaning it and she was told we checked out. (For the record she was extremely sweet, just a lack of communication on her supervisors behalf). So there we are standing in the hallway with our luggage and nowhere to go. The maintenance man is in the hallway and offers to help us, we explain the situation and he was very nice. He calls down to the front desk to see what’s going on. The man at the front desk asks to put my husband on the phone and starts YELLING AT HIM for telling the maintenance man we needed a new room. I have never in my life witnessed such poor customer service, I was in utter shock!!
At one point we lost our masks, not sure if someone accidentally threw them away or they blew away but we asked the front desk for more and were told no. Not even for purchase. I was actually begging at one point for a mask, since the resort requires it, and they said “no, maybe check back tomorrow.” In the meantime, nobody will serve us without one. We had to catch a shuttle the next day, to an offsite mall, just to buy masks...what an absolute joke. If a company if going to require them, They need to supply them. Period.
With the exception of one pool bartender who worked his tail end off, our sweet maid, and one server (Estarling) the entire staff was rude to us. It was impossible to get any help. I have never been treated this poorly by anyone in my entire life. And to think we paid $3k for this entire trip.. what a costly mistake.
Be Live Collection Corporate: I’m not sure how you run your other locations but this one needs some serious attention. Luckily for me, I’ll never know because I will never return to any of your
worldwide resorts, and will be telling all of my family and friends to stay far far away as well.
