We stayed for 3 nights (an extra night than planned because we didn't want to leave!) at the end of November and had the most wonderful weekend. Firstly the location is ideal for visiting the beautiful village of Hoi An, only a 10 minute walk, making it really easy to pop in for some food or coffee and ensuring you can visit as many temples, bridges market's as you like. The hotel itself is great to with 2 lovely pools, a fab roof top bar (with excellent views) and a good restaurant! The interiors are stunning while always clean and immaculate and the beds super comfy. Lastly our stay was made even more enjoyable with the friendly, kind and caring staff. We thank ,in particular Thuy and Thu, for the time they took sharing great visiting tips with us (both for Hoi an and our next stop in Hue) as well as generally making us feel very comfortable and cared for. We wish had had remembered more names as everyone was so kind and smiley! We would absolutely love to visit again and would recommend to everyone!
Hotel included in Globus tour
This hotel probably had the best breakfast buffet of the several hotels we stayed in while touring SE Asia. Huge variety, cooked to order eggs, etc. Craft cocktails at rooftop bar were fantastic and the sunset was amazing. Close to night market and old town. A few mini markets around but had a hard time finding wine. Karaoke at other establishments was a bit loud and irritating since we had a room on the street side but we loved our balcony so we made due. Very nice included dinner our first night with set menu. Pools looked amazing but didn't get a chance to use them. Would definitely stay here again if I make it back to the area.
Great location walking distance to night market etc. Fantastic room loved the decor
Perfect location, balcony room was fantastic loved the decor especially bathroom tiling really fab. Staff were great so helpful and courteous. Loved the Pool and Bar couldn't fault it. Ho an is superb but wow it can get busy so book restaurant's if you can or turn up early.
Beautiful hotel and beautiful staff!
We checked out today after a week here at the Hotel Royal. It is a STUNNING hotel. Absolute luxury! We had the grand deluxe king room and it was absolutely beautiful. The room is enormous and the bed is so big I couldn't even tell my partner was in it! The staff were absolutely brilliant and despite the fact that it is a very stressful and uncertain time with the current Covid 19 crisis and there weren't many guests here, everything is still being maintained to an exceptional standard. Unfortunately due to government regulations the rooftop bar/pool, gym and spa were closed to guests but we didn't mind. The courtyard pool is beautiful. Breakfast buffet was delicious and there was a lot to choose from, today they did hot breakfast off the menu but kept the cold buffet section (given very minimal guests today). We borrowed bikes from the hotel each day and took ourselves on riding tours given no actual tours are currently running. The hotel is located within walking distance from the action but not so close that you're getting the noise and traffic. We would absolutely love to stay here again.
Beautiful hotel with even better staff
We are currently in the royal hotel anxiously awaiting transfer home to UK. The number of guests left is very low yet the hotel and staff are maintaining exceptionally high standards and are doing their very upmost to look after their clients. The company should be very proud of them all and we are very thankful. We have been staying in room 2505 since 13.3.20 which is beautiful.Wishing all the staff the very best for the future.
