Stay Elsewhere
I had a reservation for a king room for two nights. I had to check in at the night window, I’m assuming because of Covid, and stand outside in February to get my room key. When I got to the room, I walked in to see two double beds. I went back to the front desk (window) and showed the lady my email reservation for a king room. She informed me that they didn’t have any king rooms available. I told her that was unacceptable. She took my credit card once again and managed to find a king room available. I walked into that room, which smelled like someone a cigarette in it ten minutes before we got there. The two lamps next to the bed did not work. Over the course of two days I had to bring my key card back to be re-activated because the card reader on the door flashed red when I tried to use it. I then received an email from my credit card company stating that they had declined a charge because it put me over my credit limit. I checked my American Express app and the person at the front desk had run my card FIVE times. Housekeeping never came to replenish towels or make the bed. On the afternoon of the second day, the room phone rang. I answered it. The man on the phone did not introduce himself. He did not even say “Hello”. He said “You staying or checking out?” I replied that I had booked the room for two nights. He said ok and hung up. I would give negative stars for this location if I could. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your vehicle if this is the only hotel available.
Board of Health will shut them down
Most disgusting hotel Ive even seen. Zero conovirus measures in place. Extreme mold on bathroom ceiling tiles, hair in bathtub & sink. Nothing cleaned !! No social distancing. Party going on in room 105. People all over no masks. Blasting music. Sheets had holes in them. Extremely unsafe & will be shut down. Shame on hotels.com for listing this illegal unsafe place Sunday October 10/11/20 Be safe. Stay away from this virus spreader
Excellent
Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, will definitely stay here again- My residence has lost power because of a recent storm, and I enjoy frequenting this establishment for the aforementioned reasons-
Excellent
I booked this Days Inn because my Husband stayed hr 9/20... He was very impressed how clean the room was and how helpful the staff was. He had me book last weekend 9/25-9/27 and this weekend 10/2-10/4/2020 because of the condition of the rooms and the ManGer was extremely helpful. We wish we had found this Days in the weekend if 9/18-9/20 we were not happy with the Howard Johnson in Newburgh ... it needs updating.. towel rack broken in bThroon.. Someone had written in Pensil on the wall by the bed.. no microwave, no refrigerator .. Tge only plus was they had bagels in ziplock bags in paper bags with butter, Cream Cheese and Jelly because Continental breakfast closed due to Covid. Maybe Days Inn could do that since Continental BreakfSt is closed there too. We are expecting to have another great experience this coming weekend
Best hotel to stay
Great hotel to stay, wonderful service, and excellent staff. I checked in very late at night, but Mr.patel came out of his way and helped me and guide me about the area. He was very helpful. The hotel is located in a convenient location and all amenities are closed by. I would definitely stay again in this hotel if I will visit Lake Gorge.
