Great place close by Town!

We stayed in a Superior Queen with Lake View. Spectacular views coupled with a spacious and clean room amplified the experience. The hotel staff with super kind and allowed us to store luggage pre-check in and even after checking out as our flight was late (without any extra charge) :) The restaurant in the hotel had a nice vibe and decent food. The staff was outstanding and even managed to parcel one of the items I had forgotten in the rooms. Location wise it is about a 10 min walk to the Towncentre. Bus stops on either side of the road make it an easy place to be accessible coming from the airport/town centre. Could do with a bit of a makeover, but nonetheless a good place within budget.

If you are looking for accommodation that's within walking distance to the township, that's very affordable and has everything you need, then look no further. Its clean, has a good restaurant and bar and the staff are great
Good value but needs a spruce up
Reviewed 20 may, 2022
We stayed nearly a week here in a 2 bedroom apt with our toddler. The layout was good with bedrooms upstairs from the lounge etc. both floors had good views of the lake. Seemed very clean and housekeeping was good. TV and Wi-Fi were both good. The furnishings are rather dated though (beds were good) and the kitchen bench top was quite chipped. The lack of a full fridge freezer made the kitchenette of limited value. Location is convenient up a steep hill but buses are frequent and inexpensive. We did have a room service order go astray which was disappointing given it seemed we were nearly the only guests there at the time. With a spruce up it could be really good but as it stands it’s decent value for money.
Good hotel but needs renovation

The hotel is old and needs renovation however the lower price reflects value for money including breakfast which I definitely suggest you do. The service was excellent. It is a 15 min walk up hill (5 min steep) from the village. The bus stops right outside on both sides of the road. Buy a B card on bus. The room is spacious , 2 beds comfortable but the shower curtain should be replaced at least. Breakfast was substantial and very good with a wonderful view of lake and mountains . Two nights was ample here.
Good views, average decor
Reviewed 17 october, 2021
The views to the lake from our 2nd floor (first floor for North Americans) is nice. Room is sizeable, but the decor is quite average. It just felt like someone just went table, check, chairs, check, without giving too much thought to aesthetics. Everything feels a bit dated. The bed is nice and large though. There's unlimited WiFi, sometimes it's fast, other times slow. It's about 10min walk to lakefront so it's reasonably convenient, and especially after eating a good meal it's nice to have a short stroll back.
