Apalling

Reviewed 10 february, 2021

We were booked to stay at this hotel either side of walking the Routeburn Trail. A treat pre and post tramp. 4 days before we were due to depart for the S island my husband got an e mail saying they had cancelled our booking - but - wait for it - “the good news is, we’re not going to charge you a cancellation fee”. No explanation, no apology, nothing. We were able to use the “Queenstown Motel Apartments” which are a couple of hundred yards away from the hotel instead. They were great and we would use them again, and avoid the Millenium Hotel.

CENTRALLY LOCATED IN QUEENSTOWN.

We stayed for two nights in a group with AATKings, it is an older hotel. The rooms were clean, tidy and the beds were comfy but our room was facing the road which was not a good view. It is located in the heart of Queenstown, providing good breakfast.

Great stay!

Enjoyed a short stay here - older hotel but rooms were clean, tidy and the bed was super comfy. Town centre is only a short walk away and you had the option for secure parking under the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

Older Hotel With Excellent Staff

We stayed one night here - pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded to a junior suite. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, albeit a little noisy at night as right on the main road. The hotel had few other guests so we ate our dinner in the bar, which was a little weird for us as we had expected the dining room but the food was lovely and the service excellent.

Great Stay & close to Queenstown Central

Reviewed 31 december, 2020

Very happy with the decision of booking and staying at millennium hotel - just a short walk down Frankton Road to Queenstown Central. From the moment my friend & I arrived, the staff were very pleasant and so friendly and eager to please. Abbi the food & beverage supervisor was a wonderful host for dining. We found the rooms clean and hotel tastefully furnished. The beds are on the softer side but very comfy with lovely cotton sheets. Would very happily stay again should I make it back to Queenstown.
