I found maggots in my Orange Juice, and mold on the cheese and bread. Others in our party had found maggots in the OJ a few days earlier so, they obviously have an issue. Another adult we were with saw quite a few cockroaches in the kitchen where food was prepared. I rented 2 rooms and both had mold covering most of the grout in the showers and their was a definite smell in both bathrooms. The bottom of the bathroom doors were swelled up and split because of water damage. Lots of updates needed. Staff was very nice but, the underlying maintenance and food prep is concerning. Also, we were there with a huge group and there was only one bartender (cash only bar-no credit cards) and the bar tender was also the cook....so, he had to run back in forth cooking and working the bar....good luck getting a drink when you want one...I felt bad for him)
Worst 4 star hotel we have ever stayed in.
Hotel may have been a 4 star years ago but clearly in need of decoration thoughout, We had mold on walls in bedroom. No furniture on balcony minimal old furniture in bedroom and very basic although TV was ok. Poor cold basic breakfast only and mainly unhappy and unfriendly staff that ran it. Hotel was not in Lisbon as described and a 45 minute bus ride in and an expensive return taxi back. Only stayed 3 days but glad to move on. Not even cheap and booked by our holiday company who we shall be contacting and making a serious complant to. NOT WHAT WE PAID OUR WELL EARNED MONEY FOR SO BEST AVOIDED
Awful, just awful
First of all this hotel is not 4 star. The room absolutely stank of damp and the bathroom celing and bedroom curtains were covered in mould spots. Found a black hair in a freshly made bed and also 2 dubious looking black dots. The location of the hotel is awful. About 25 minutes drive from Lisbon. It is set amidst a residential area which overlooks a motorway. There is nothing around it. There were a group of young men there for a soccer match and we could hear them roaring while we were having lunch. I just couldn't wait to get out and made my way back to Lisbon. The one really positive about the hotel was the staff. They were very friendly but there is genuinely no reason for anyone to stay in this hotel.
old hotel, nice facilities needs removation
The hotel states 4 starts. I believe that they have the facilities for 4 start, but not the quality. The rooms have wonderful view but needs to be renovated. It reminds me old 80s hotel. The staff is very friendly and do their best to make customer feel comfortable. The breakfast is reach with wide variety of food. The restaurant seems nice, but i could hear the sound of the microwave oven all the time. Maybe they should re-consider using it. The wifi is free but with limited speed. (less than 1MB)
NOT A 4 **** HOTEL AT ALL
The hotel is In the middle of nowhere." Looks really good on photos but once you are there Hotel is a bit old, need to be refurbish, we stay at room 124 The pools are very dirty, the sauna does not working. The breakfast is more like a continental breakfast with not much to eat. Food quality very poor!! overall a big HOSTEL don't go there PLEASE...Not a 4* Hotel. Some staff try really hard and are very friendly, but can't help ....☹️
