Hotel El Rolex visit
Hotel was nice and traditional but rooms and bed were old.they need more cleaniness in hotel and of course it was hot so a fan wasn't enough.it lacks remodeling,they should renovate it and upgrade beds and all.staff should be more polite

Stayed there a night in wintertime. The place is pretty run down. Rooms in country style are old and urgently need brush up. Be careful in wintertime..! No heating..!! Believe me, it gets cold. The only thing they offer in room is wollen blankets. TV is very small, WiFi unrelieable. Showerhead scaled and spits in every direction. I got no breakfast, you need to go somewhere else. In summer it might be more fun, they have a big swimming pool but be carefull, beside an old fan hanging from the ceiling I guess there is no aircon.
Nice hotel in the center of Tequisquiapan
The place is beautiful with easy access to the center but it needs more renovation and care. The rooms are OK. The swimming pools need more maintain and the large one with Jacuzzi was with cold water. The playground for the kids is huge and the place is more adapted to Family travel.
Terrible customer service
Hotel el Relox is a terrible place to stay. Every single of their services is a money trap. While it is ok for services like massages and spa to cost aditional to the room fee, its terrible that the billiard and minigames in the bar to have a cost PER HOUR. The hotel promised 4 pools around the hotel when in reality are only two, one of them out of order in holidays.
GREAT WINE COUNTRY HOTEL
Only a two hour drive from our home in San Miguel de Allende The Relox is the perfect weekend getaway. Free parking on the grounds. Free internet. Five minute walk to the square. There was a light out our suite so they gave us an upgrade to the Penthouse. We were speech less to say the least. Great grounds, great Spanish speaking staff and located in the heart of Tequisquiapan which took my wive and me a week to learn how to pronounce the name of the city. Lots of really great restaurants, hotels and taxis are 25 pesos anywhere in the city. We will be back to the Relox.
