El hotel es excelente pero...
El hotel es muy lindo, bien ubicado, desayuno muy completo, buena atención del personal. Es moderno, ecológico, en fin tiene todas las bondades pero tuvieron un muy mal detalle de parte de la gerencia. Nos pidieron dejar nuestras maletas en una bodeguita detrás de la recepción. No me percaté de que detrás de mi maleta había un jarrón de barro azul. Al tomarla se cayó y se rompió, entiendo que fue mi responsabilidad y un accidente pero mi cuenta subió a €100 en lugar de los €60 que pagaron las demás. Creo que debiesen ellos sacar las maletas por nosotros dado que no tenían las habitaciones disponibles al momento de nuestra llegada y evitar así cualquier inconveniente de nuestra parte. Ojalá lo tomen en cuenta y esto mejore en la atención y servicio excelente que prestan a los huéspedes.
Appealing hotel - perhaps a bit too quirky
Made a good choice for a one-night stay, arriving by car, as outside the central restricted zone (yet only 10 minutes from the stunning heart of the city, over a canal lock then the Danube). Relatively expensive (€145 with breakfast for two), but we did get an immense room - very sparsely furnished, with idiosyncratic fittings, in places style over substance. An excellent buffet breakfast, and easy parking underneath.
Strange way of running a hotel
This is a difficult review as there are some really good points and there are some not so good points to this hotel. Defuinately more work needed to raise it to a first class one. First the goods points 1. Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff 2. nice courtyard garden with all sorts of art around 3. Styling is really interesting with much furniture made from old suitcases. 4. Breakfast was good with proper english style bacon 5. very close to the town for eating and shopping And the not so good: 1. 8:30pm the hotel literally closes up and you have to call a security company to check in or if your keycard does not work. 2. my room had a double bed with one pillow and a very thin single duvet that only covered about half the bed. 3. Really nice shower but the drain is not well designed and after about two minute the entire bathroom started to flood As a short stay this is ok but i think more work needs doing just to raise it that bit more.
More than perfect
I am sad that I just stayed for one night at this amazing hotel. Everything was perfect. I love the design and the green atmosphere. The garden is a true oasis and breakfast was awesome. The rooms are huge and well designed. I will come back!
Nice modern hotel
Very nice and modern rooms - I really like the clean Scandinavian style. The location is ok, but you have to walk 15m to reach the city center. Breakfast was great and service generally good. Gym isn’t that well equipped if that’s important for you, keep it in mind.
