The marquee was absolutely beautiful along with all the food!! The room was absolutely perfect with such comfortable beds the entire atmosphere is friendly with the most helpful and amazing staff! No bad word to say about this place absolutely in love!!

We had a very good stay , what a beautiful, spacious, clean room , tastefully decorated with plenty of storage, every attention to detail was thought of . Staff were very accommodating, with plant milk provided in our room and at breakfast . We would definitely stay here again and can recommend fully . 👍🏼

A perfect wedding setting

My (now) wife and I got married here on 11th August 2022 and what can I say, it was perfect! The venue itself is wonderful. We instantly fell in love with the beautiful garden grounds, with all the well maintained plants and trees around us. It made the perfect setting for our Handfasting ceremony too, whilst all the time accompanied by the tranquil sound of the river running alongside. The ceremony room for the wedding looked amazing and gave us full views to the stunning garden. The marque looked incredible too! From the lit up walk way, and the way the room had been adorned with fairy lights and chandeliers. Being one of the hottest days of the year, having air-con in the marque was a God send and would allow it to be comfortable any time of year. The main building itself is also very pretty; an old Georgian looking building with every room styled to look elegant and inviting. Whether you want to book it as a venue, go for a meal or even just a drink, you could spend hours there happy and comfortable. Our honeymoon suit was amazing. A room large enough for all the bridesmaids to get ready in, a huge four poster bed for my wife and I to end the night in (we never wanted to leave that bed- so comfy!) and even a jacuzzi bath if you need that extra bit of relaxation. Lastly I have to mention Kim, Kate, Chris and Mark. From the day we booked The Mill House, the day itself and even breakfast the day after, they could not have been more attentive or helpful if they tried. Every step of the way they helped guide and support us through the roller coaster of wedding planning. Mark was an amazing MC and put us at complete ease on the day. Nothing was too much to ask. I could not fault the Mill House as a wedding venue. The building, grounds and staff, etc were so wonderful. We look forward to returning there for a romantic meal (the food is sublime!)

I got married there on 11.08.22 and had the best day of my life! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the hotel and marquee were wonderful too. All of the staff were very professional, friendly efficient and accommodating. Mark was amazing as master of ceremonies and helped calm our nerves and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious too! All our guests were really impressed with the venue and I'm still glowing with happiness! I 100% recommend this place and I'll be coming back with my husband for a yummy meal at some point.

Brilliant Wedding Venue

The perfect setting for a wedding, lovely grounds and set up for our wedding held in August. Kim, Kate, Chris and the team did a fantastic job for us, a totally wonderful time even if the weather didn’t always behave. Service throughout the day was great, food was perfect and we even has a bespoke option for the main course, chef excelled. Rooms were fine and well presented, would highly recommend the Mill House as a perfect venue, good value as well.
