Good visit
A good no frills hotel at a very good price. Quiet and nice that the pool was open(with conditions). And a hot breakfast sandwich was a nice surprise during covid! Very clean. No complaints and definitely recommend.
Price is right
Here is my rating of everything Staff: 5/5 Pool: 5/5 Beds: 4/5 a little hard for me Shower: 1/5 shower head needs to be changed. And the vent was gross. Pillows: I didnt use the pillow as I bring my own. Breakfast: 5/5 for what they can offer with Covid going on. Location: 5/5 great spot. Easy access to shopping and highway if you are travelling. Price: 5/5 but I use Hotels.com a lot so I get really good deals. Overall: 4/5 I would stay there again.

Made a Reservation Online. Room was Ready On Arrival Checked in which Was Early They wanted a Room Security Deposit of 150.00. I have stayed at Whyndam Hotels over a dozen times times this year. They should know that I do not damage rooms. I disagree with Deposits For Long Time Guests. I have had major problems trying to get back Deposits in the Past with Whyndam Hotels. Including having to have the Credit Company open Fraud Investigation. So I asked to pay the Deposit in Cash. They said No it was against Company Policy. Canadian Cash is Legal Tender in Canada. It used to be illegal to refuse tender in Canadian Cash. ?Still Is !! If They Can Touch My Credit Card They Can Touch Case.!! I put the deposit on a debit card to have more control to get it back when I checked out. Staff was friendly!! Staff was helpful !! Clean Hotel Clean Room Family Friendly Pool with Water Slide Hot Tub I would Stay Here Again I would Recommend to Friends I would Recommend to Family Got My Deposit Back First Thing In Morning Use Debit Cards For Deposit!! I'll be back I'll be back. !!
Hotel for Hockey Tournament
Great place with a great pool for the kids and families. but the hotel needs an upgrade in the bathrooms in the rooms as they seem to be starting to look old and dated. breakfast in always had a good selection. elevator needs a upgrade as it is very slow and sometimes faster to just take the stairs then wait.
No control of the young hockey teams in pool or hallways. Room cleaning was not great.
Room was adequate but not great. We were there with teen age athletes (ski racers) and the young hockey players were running the hallways and screaming in the pool. Parents were standing at the pool door (right near reception) holding the door open which allowed the screaming sounds to project down the hall.
