Great spot to stay

Booked a two bedroom apartment for an overnight stay. Booking was easy and check in quick and informative with suggestions regarding various dinner options nearby. Room was bright clean and airy. Great kitchen/dining/lounge and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The balcony went across both bedrooms and the lounge with doors from all rooms outside. All three us could not get over just how quiet the room was. No traffic noise and no noise from other units. It was a really enjoyable stay. The manager was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the fact that we could walk to the waterfront and the variety of restaurants available. I would definitely stay here again..

Terrific Hospitality!

Whilst recommending La Vida On Anzac recently to an interstate couple, I realized that I had not submitted a review for this excellent establishment. My wife and I took out a 6 month lease to enable us to purchase a local property at our leisure. The second floor, 2 bedroom apartment was perfect with two balconies facing north and west. The apartment was clean, neat and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. La Vida's location is unbeatable. It is located across the road to a local mall including a Woolworths supermarket. Another minutes walk puts you on the beach and the entire range of restaurants and shops on the main Redcliffe esplanade. One of the unforgetable aspects of a stay at La Vida is the wonderful, friendly hospitality of the managers and staff. Having such comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts made the relocating to the city from the country a stress-free exercise. We have been recommending La Vida ever since we left. We checked into a studio apartment that was clean and well appointed. Within easy walking distance of the waterfront, beach and restaurants. Due to personal reasons after an hour it was necessary for us to check out . We were giving a full refund , for which we were very grateful.

Handy overnighter

We stayed in a studio apartment overnight. It was okay but we've stayed in roomier, more comfortable motel rooms. The kitchen bench hadn't been cleaned well and the room was quite noisy. The bed was comfortable and it's well-located near the beach and eateries.

I have written 760 reviews here on Trip Advisor, but I've NEVER had to write one like this! We booked for 3 nights at this property via Agoda, then got a call from the property manager who complained that we had booked through a third party, that they didn't accept AmEx and that their reception closed at 5 pm on the day we were due to arrive (our flight landed at 5.30 pm). He was seriously unpleasant and excessively rude to me, to the extent that I cancelled the booking, despite it being non-refundable! Thankfully, Agoda arranged for a refund in the form of a credit and we booked elsewhere - thank you Agoda, great service. This guy should not be permitted to interact with the general public, in my opinion, and I strongly suggest that anyone checking out the property books elsewhere.
