What an experience we had this past weekend. I was in town for business and had my family with me. I noticed trash overflowing out of the trash can right outside the front door as soon as I arrived. Shortly after checking into our room we heard horrific screaming and cursing coming from the room next door. I immediately called down to the front desk and asked to change rooms, but of course they were "completely booked". After multiple calls to the front desk they said they would "take care of it". After a while the screaming and cursing stopped so we thought we were good. The area around the hotel is full of homeless and there are encampments in the bushes surrounding the hotel. The next evening when I arrived back tot he hotel very tired from a long day there was now a pile of trash next to the trash can by the front door. About 9:45p the horrific screaming and cursing began again. It literally sounded like someone was being murdered in the room next door. The banging on the walls sounded like all the furniture was being tossed too. I called down to the front desk and begged the manager to do something. He said he would "take care of it" and seemed to indicate this was a usual occurrence. What the heck!!! Nothing happened and the screaming intensified. By now was wife was terrified because it sounded like this crazy person was going to come through our wall. I called multiple more times to the front desk because nothing happened and the manager said there wasn't really anything he could do. I was so fed up and upset that I called the police. After an amount of time it did sound like the police came. I'm not really sure what happened but the screaming and cursing stopped but banging noises continued for the next several hours. Needless to say we terrified and now couldn't sleep. What a terrible deal. I am just thankful that my young kids slept through that event because they heard the one the night before. I would like to think that this was an isolated one time event but I'm not so sure based on my interactions with onsite management. I really would like my money back from this hotel. I have travelled the world and stayed in countless hotels, but I would have to say that this was, by far, my worst hotel experience ever. BEWARE!!!!!!

Quiet and tons of food choices nearby

We ended up here because of a last minute holiday vacay and Big Besr was booked solid. This is a very clean and safe hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Management is awesome because they are willing to mail my kid's snow boots he left behind and doing it in own time! Lots of fast food within walking distance and just a 5 minute drive takes you to tons of restaurants around. Very close to get to Snow Valley from here-only 30 minutes! Room was big and had fridge and micro.The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. We were very happy with our stay at half the price that Big Bear was charging! We would not hesitate to stay again. If you come in the summer, make sure to take the kids to Bahama Buck's for tons of shaved ice varieties that are yum!

A nice and pleasant stay

We had a very nice stay for 4 nights. We were able to get one of the last rooms on very short notice. Check in was smooth and quick and the clerk was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and big with a king bed, a big movable TV, coffee maker and microwave, chair and deask, a fridge that got extremely cold. and a sitting area with a couch and coffee table. A real "suite". There is a very faint musty smell when the in wall AC is left off. The breakfast was kind of a joke with vending machine cinnamon buns and honey buns left at the check in desk in the morning. Somewhat understandable due to the covid situation, but we had a pleasant stay nonetheless.

I had the best experience at this hotel down to the housekeepers. I want to say that Sean the manager was amazing and so hospitable and so was the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend staying here its super quiet now since the coronavirus came out. I stayed here for 15 days here. I was bummed gym wasn't open. I love how clean the hotel was constantly disinfecting the hotel. The manager gave guests masks which was nice and i liked how they followed the cdc guidelines. I'm travel nurse and was impressed.

First of all, I based my family stay there on reviews. Safety is my primary concern for my family. None of the reviews had any safety concerns. The pictures inside and out show a very well maintained complex. The positives are many. Freeway close without the noise. Hot breakfast including waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, etc. Staff pleasant and professional. Lobby had courtesy coffee and fruit 24/7. Landscaping was well manicured and the fountain is a nice feature. The negatives. We arrived at the hotel about 9pm. The entryway parking near the lobby was full. There are a number of stalls in a rear area with a side bldg entrance. I dropped off my family and bags at the lobby and went to park in the back. I had a bad feeling. It was dark. I always look for cameras and there were none covering the side entry or a majority of the lot. The lot is at the bottom of a hwy embankment and adjacent to a huge open field. No fence or wall. I backed into a stall in plain view. I had a room key and tried to enter the side door. Since the lighting was low, I wasn't sure what type of key card it was; swipe or touch. After a minute or two, I pulled the door handle to see the door wasn't locked. Odd but it must be a safe area. Right? As soon as you enter the hallway the nice I door pool is to your left. Talked to the receptionist and went up to our 2nd floor room. Sunday morning about 10am we were headed for church and saw my rear quarter window had a hole in it. Yup. Overnight someone broke the window and reached into remove some property. Looked around and saw a truck with a broken window. Not far from the only camera covering the lot. I see next to my car is a lamp post. Unfortunately, it was on the ground and look like it had been there awhile. Oh well. I should have pushed the issue on a better parking spot but no reviews mentioned safety. Found out at least 3 cars broken into same way. Staff said there has been previous thefts before. Wish they put a fence around the lot at least. That happened Saturday night. Still had one more night there and the staff let me park in front of the lobby our second night. So, after looking around the lot waiting for Redland police to take the reports, I could see them arresting a transient on the hwy above the lot. I also could see trash and misc items in the bushes next to the lot. Wish I would have seen that when we first arrived. Drive around the area and you will see transients riding their bikes, walking the streets, and tents. Damn wish I saw that before or knew about it. Second night, at least 5 other cars broken into at other hotels nearby that we know of. The hotel should hire some sort of security to walk the complex and be some deterrent. I won't stay there again. With an indoor pool on the bottom floor, accessed by a door that's not always locked. With no camera at that door, inside it out, I didn't want my family using the pool. There is nothing to stop a person or transient from approaching my family at the indoor pool. A very very scary thought to think I sometime let my kids go swimming at other hotels. Ruined our weekend. The positives of the hotel are nothing if you're not safe. Stayed President's weekend 2020. Too many transients in the area. One walked by the front lobby while I warned people about our incident. Police also told of a transient problem in the area and soon to be worse with the metro link adding a stop in town. Will not stay in any hotel in that area unless they have a safe parking lot, facility, or security.
