Average budget hotel
The hotel is an average standard hotel. A bit outdated but for a stopover quite ok. We paid for 4 beds around 90 USD which is ok. But additional 12 USD for 24h parking which is not ok. The hotel location is quite central. All in all average.
Average 3 *** hotel
Clean and tidy. We were given a family room with two double beds so had PLENTY of room! Only one elevator working so thank goodness we were on floor 1. Didn’t hear any trains or announcements from station until morning. About a 10minutes walk to old town. Everything closed on a Sunday! Even McDonalds etc doesn’t open till 10. Had a great curry at Ganesha the previous night and a wander through old town.
right next to train station
The hotel is right next to the train station, and about a 10 minute walk to old town. Our room was on the quiet side, not on the station side, so we heard no trains at all. The room and bathroom were extremely small, but the bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean and modern.
to be avoided
noisy as almost on the rails of the railway station, you have the announcements directly in your bed, at least you cannot miss your train, doors not soundproof so you have the impression of having the ones passing in the corridors in your bed. Bathrooms are out of age, the staff is unpleasant and stubborn. this hotel needs a total makeover and should review his breakfast as it is poor in choice for the price (14 euros)
Good location - poor sleep
Pluses: - Good, central location - Parking available Minuses: - very close to railway station' platforms (You can actually hear the announcements) = it is rather noisy (plus a lot of guests making noise when returning to their rooms long after midnight).
