Great staff, but internet is unusable

Nice staff, but the internet is unusable. We were first assigned a room on the first floor. Upon entering we realized that it is a smoking room. We asked for another room and got assigned to a room on the 4th floor this time. It is an old build that has been refurbished. It is fine for a one night stay. The main issue is that the internet is not usable in the room. The coffee machine was broken at breakfast. The great staff attitude more than made up for the lack for the broken coffee machine. But I have to deduct some points for internet being unusable. Parking is free.

Stayed at holiday inn for 6 nights for the reggio conference and the place was packed with people who’s in Reggio for the same purpose. Breakfast selection was small, the dining area reminded me of a cafeteria in a school/factory - very simple, serves the purpose, no aesthetic quality whatsoever. Serves good coffee- ask the staff for a freshly made cuppa, foc! They serve dinner so was quite a good option for tired travelers. Try the salt baked fish - surprisingly good. Price is reasonable too. Room is really simple but still comfortable enough. There’s nothing much nearby except for a few restaurants, supermarket and decathlon. Short taxi ride away from town center if you wish to get out- costs around 11 euros. Staff at front desk will be happy to help you book a cab.

Strategic location, nice breakfast

Stayed here for a few nights with a group of friends during our visit to Loris Malaguzzi International Centre. I personally find the room completely adequate for the price. Moreover, it is very strategically located. The highlight is the breakfast menu. Highly recommended.

Basic room but fantastic friendly service

The rooms are quiet stark with the basic necessities. It has a kettle for coffee and tea. The service at this hotel is excellent. The breakfast is great and you can grab dinner there after a late work evening. The staff are very helpful and very friendly and you can always get a great cup of coffee all times of the day. I took a taxi to city center most nights.

Shower not working and bad smell in the bedroom

Went here for business trip. Unfortunately my shower was not working (only cold water coming) and the hotel was fully book, so they couldn’t change my room. Even if my vede was supposed to be a nonsmoking one, there was a strong smell of smoke. Breakfast could also be improved. The bed was comfortable.
