My daughter and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and to be honest it was brilliant. The location was great, about a 15 min walk to the old harbour, however, plenty going on in the localised area. The hotel was also on the pick up list for tours from outside the hotel which was really handy. The rooms were clean and tidied daily, the beds comfy, and rooms fitted with all the usual amenities. The breakfast was amazing, from bacon and eggs to meats, pastries, yoghurts, fruit.. Pretty much everything you could think of. The staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble, even booked trips and checked collection times. Thank you all at the Baron for giving us a great holiday and for the card wishing me a happy birthday... Lovely touch x❄️🌧️🏔️
Conveniently Located, Room Slightly Dated, Free Parking

The hotel is in a decent spot, definitely walking distance from the attractions. The rooms are slightly outdated, but not too bad, and it's clean. There is free parking, but space are limited so could be an issue if you arrive too late. Price is okay as well.
Really great friendly hotel!

From the minute we stepped in the hotel we felt welcome, nothing is too much trouble, reception staff are exceptional and help with bookings made, make phone calls on your behalf etc. The hotel is clean and tidy. Lots to choose from at the breakfast buffet, hot and cold, plus fresh fruit and cereals, hot drinks machines, fruit juice and water, you can drink the cold cold water supplied, however don't drink the hot water from the tap. In easy reach of Harbour and center. Our room 205 has a small wet room with sink and toilet, very clean and has a hairdryer. The bedroom area is comfortable with a dressing table area, two chairs, a wardrobe, bedside lights a TV and a comfortable bed, two pillows. Enjoy your stay!!

Great location for getting around with pick up points from both hotel and collection points for all tours on offer. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast decent although cooked options limited. Scrambled egg,Bacon, Beans, sausages. Rooms small and a little dated. Bar facilities on a evening lack imagination or dress and could present in a warmer format. Price of hotel and holiday expensive for three nights however Iceland a great country to visit for a short break.
