They lost our room reservation and put us into a smaller room than what we requested. The front desk manager was rude and unpleasant. What happened to customer service? The room we got was outdated and worn. It could definitely use a remodel. Trying to get supplies from housekeeping was another pain as we had to call almost every day for something they forgot. One day they completely forgot to clean our room even though we saw the maid in the hallway and told her we were going to be out all day. We did not find this out until we returned late at night. We will never stay there again.
Beware! Do not stay at this hotel

Non functioning amenities (toilet and shower) and service was <1 for a place who calls themselves a 4 start hotel. Complained to Manager only to get harrased back by him, Dan Keeber. I paid #300 a night for multiple nights of horror! Don't stay there!!!! Beware!!!!!

Extremely unfriendly staff. Food and Drink poor quality and over priced. It is impossible to enjoy your evening in this kind of environment. Staff is not dressed as well as you would expect in this kind of resort. After our last year service needs to be at it's best. Lots of options on where to spend time and money. Avoid peppermill at all costs is my recommendation.
Just didn't get any sleep.

In most ways the Peppermill did not disappoint, once again. Check in; no matter which way you chose to do it, is simple and quick. I stood in the fast moving line and was taken care of by one of the many working to move the line. Easy. Our room was 1430. It was in the Tower. Well appointed and lovely for the basic tower room. The rooms are in twos off one hallway door. THat door opened to 1428 and 1430. This is where we had a little trouble. Our neighbors were obnoxious. There was a couple, three children and Grandmother. The Mom and Grandmother allowed the children to play in the area inside the hallway door between our rooms. The kids were loud, they banged toys and screamed right AT our door until after 11:30 PM. When they did go into the room, the door was left ajar and you could hear all the yelling. We tapped on the door and asked if they could be just a bit quieter. Didn't help. They awoke early and the kids began banging on our door and screaming again. This time the Father was there. I stuck my head out the door and asked if the kids could be a little quieter and the Father erupted with, "the kids were not loud and to call management if I had a problem. We did. They came. It was a bit quieter but we left for the day and evening. The second night was equally as loud. Someone in 1428 yelled and argued until after 3 in the morning. It had been a long Reno day and I opted to put the pillow over my head this time. Not the tranquil sleeping experience one expects in the Tower. Maybe no kids that side? I was exhausted. Food was good as usual. This visit we had a feast at Oceanana, drinks everywhere and great gambling. The hotel/casino runs very smoothly. I miss valet parking but understand. It's nice to have all the glass dividers removed. Wonderful morning and afternoon at the spa! Looking forward to another visit already. Only hope this time I don't have children banging on my door. With all the rooms one would think this could be curbed. I was honestly worried that had I of said anything more to the Father he may have gotten a bit nasty. Trust me we travel a lot and are just two women...we are used to noise but this was at a very high level.
