Only if you desperate
Booked online, got a room on the 3rd floor, seems to be the cheap rooms and it shows. They are tired, door doesn't lock securely the beds not the most comfortable and the room is hot. The food is ok but typical no soul type. If you can pay the extra and stay elsewhere. The front desk staff were helpful. The dinning room staff rude and disinterested.
An awful experience
Leaving aside the issue of why the hotel would take a booking from anyone when they appear to be full of screaming children running amok everywhere is beyond me. The time is now 10.30, the noise is unbearable and there is a constant stream of children banging on our door. At nearly 11pm some idiot is being allowed to play a ghetto blaster. Why the hell someone is not supervising these children is a joke. Upon entering the hotel you can smell the age of the place in the air. After checking in we were given a room on the second floor and proceeded via the dark dingy corridor and wood chip walls to find an ant infestation (unfortunately the review won’t let me download the video we took of the ants marching around) under the bed to go with the depressing bed linen described by a previous reviewer. I’m sure as previously reviewed the food will be equally depressing and all I can suggest is that no one books this hotel until it’s been shut down and properly refurbished. A thoroughly unacceptable and disappointing experience.
Terrible terrible terrible.
I can't believe that there are good reviews about this hotel! ( if you can even call it that!) It is so old and dirty and moldy and I am truly not the picky or obsessively clean type of person. The bed is a rock and I'm still walking with a sore back from 2 days ago from sleeping on the terrible mattress's. Old dirty wool blankets, pilled uncomfortable sheets, lumpy pillows, horrible mangey carpet. Dirty sticky walls. The yard our back by the river is dirt and rocks with old outdated, put put and tennis... the swimming pool outside was fine. The inside pool was warm, but you had to pay 8euros pp per day! What a joke! We just snuck in knowing that was a ridiculous price for such a crappy place. The breakfast is oily, barely warm, stale breads, we ate once and didn't go back again for the other 2 nights. I tried looking for another hotel but all were booked out. AND this my friends is why this place even gets guests! Great location and has 2 full seasons of tourists. Dont count on this hotel updating, cleaning or fixing anything anytime soon. They have WAY too much to do and are making plenty of money. Do not stay here. 100 euros a night for less than hostel conditions. I would have been happy at 15-25 euros a night.
An excellent sevice and location in a clean old hotel.
It's a very ggod option to spend some days in the snow. The service is excellent. Meal is also very good. Rooms are a few old, but they are clean. Spa zone isn't big, but comfortable and a great pleasure after an skiing day.
Good location,bad service!
Staff's English is bad, if you're not 'all inclusive' you get sent to the back room of the restaurant, where is dark and you are far from the food counters (they are all in the front room), food is tasteless, cold and no variety.Room is tiny, carpets and walls are stained. Will never go back there!
