Recommended, value for money!
Very clean, well managed accommodation. Friendliness and kindness of staff eminent. Quiet environment, if animation needed, this was available in partnering hotel. Golf carts available for trip to the beach. We would go back if we re-visit this region.
superb place
very friendly welcome, the place, the garden and te rooms were clean we were in a very nice renovated room with plenty of space. The hotel has an amazing view on the see and the Strombole volcano, and we are able to enjoy the beachside aswel Food and drinks were excellent, not the cheapest but good quality Capo vaticano is not the best place to visit Calabria (not sure that such a place exists), roadster not the best in Italy
Great location to chill and watch the sunset
We stayed 7 days in early September. The weather was fabulous. Over 30 degrees most days. So having access to a pool and beach on site was perfect. Great location to explore from or just stay on site by the pool. The pool is not chlorinated which was the only drawback ....in these COVID times, we would have preferred a chlorine pool option rather than salt style pool. Lovely food options on site. Great to be able to use the hotel but keep all your receipts and check your bill as it’s easy for mistakes to happen. Easy to find alternative restaurants if you are ok driving at night on Italian roads. We had a double room with two single beds. But it was really just a double room. I feel sorry for anyone who had to spend a week on the single beds placed in the kitchenette. Beds were hard but perfectly ok for a short stay. TV was ok but limited English channels and not a smart tv so unable to access Netflix etc. But good internet in rooms. Kitchenette had large fridge/freezer, pans, glassware, crockery and cutlery but no salt/pepper or washing up liquid. Nice terrace at the rear too with dining area. Overall we loved our stay here. It’s certainly not a party village and that is probably why we liked it so much.
Perfect place to relax, best see experience, great food
Don't forget to taste great mojito made by Domenico The service is outstanding, view of the sunset unique, you can enjoy amazing pool or the sea walking distance. If you include meal you will not regret.
Perfecto!
This holiday was the best we've ever been on. The resort is flawless, stunning views of the sea with beautiful, modern rooms. The food is outstanding - one of our party is gluten free and the chefs and waiters went to incredible lengths to ensure she didn't miss out on anything. Tropea itself is stunning. There was plenty to do but it was also so relaxed. Thank you to the whole Borgo Donna Canforna family for giving us a piece of paradise for one short week. We'll see you next year!
