family holiday
We were recommended this hotel as a family / child friendly place , it is a three star , so were not expecting luxury. It is a family run concern quite small but clean friendly and very helpful staff , the rooms are adequate and ours had quite enough space for clothes etc , there was a safe and a refrigerator . We went all inclusive and we found the food to be excellent the variety and quality was better than a recent Carribean cruise ship we traveled on this year. They have an arrangement with a beach company so beds umbrellas etc can be organized hassle free and the beach facilities have play groups to keep children amused.
For old people...
During our stay in early July this hotel was mostly visited by retired people. The owners attitude is old and old fashioned. It is not allowed to make any noice at the pool due to the fact that older people take a nap. Very child unfriendly. Staff is unpolite and rude to the customers. Although the buffet is good and the location of the hotel too I would not recomment this hotel before you are 65 years old!
Average Rating Average Hotel
Stayed here for 10 nights while attending a sporting event. Basic room, but it was clean. Very, small compact bathroom, no storage for your toiletries. Shower box was just that a box, but if you open the door first you can bend over to wash your feet and turn around. TV only has one english channel being BBC world. Good aircon and shutter for window which leads to little balcony (standing only) but great to hang out some washing on! Good space under bed for the suitcase, one chair at desk no other seating. Plastic cups, basic soaps (didn't use). Small fridge a little noisy, but not too bad if left on low. Website photos are what it is. No tea/coffee, but you can go down to reception and buy a fresh expresso. Dining room was nice and large but you had to sit at your "room table" ours was with the added distraction of two large mirrored pillars. Dinners were okay and reasonable value, breakfast was unfortunately for us the same every day - standard. Great eateries in the next street with shops galore so location was excellent. Large swimming pool with good depth. No free Wifi, but does have an internet area. No guest laundry. Buses on same street very convenient. Lady owner/manager very pleasant and helpful but not a lot of english. Would we stay here again, probably not for a long stay but okay for 3-4 nights.
Good hotel, great location.
This is a small, family-run hotel. The location is perfect, a block off the beach, and a block in the other direction to a shopping, cafe district. The meals were all included, and each meal had a fairly nice variety of choices. The grilled veggies were so good - tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, onions, mushrooms. They served water with each meal, fizzy or flat, and that was included in the meal. The rooms were small, but fine. The A/C was not great, at least by US standards, and it was in the 90's when we were there, so it was on the warm side in the room. The pool was nice, but closed each day at 7, so the boys were disappointed not to be able to use the pool in the evening. I would stay here again.
Average hotel in a great location
Hotel Giulietta is something you can expect from a three-star hotel. It provides a fairly clean room with bed and bathroom. We stayed in a quadruple room, which had one queen size bed and a bunk bed suitable for children. Cabinets and bed side tables were low quality, and the fan in the bathroon did not work. Positive things were the great location near the beach, restaurants and shops. Also, the hotel swimming pool was nice and free of charge. Street side parking was available for guests, but daily fee was charged. Hotel breakfast was served between 8-10am. It was mainly continental style with juice, coffee, toast, cereals and sweet cakes and buns. Overall, if you do not mind the average quality of the rooms and breakfast this could be a decent choise. I value nicely decorated rooms and generous breakfast as a part of a nice vacation so I would not choose this hotel again.
