I prepaid 2 nights for this hotel for Oct 16 17 on Priceline and when I arrived the hotel was fairly dead and it was 205pm I asked if I could check in and the rude female working behind the desk said this property will not allow check in before 3pm. Annoyed, I said even if you clearly have rooms available? The hotel parking lot was a ghost town. She repeated we can not allow before 3pm. I said Fine. I went to use the rest room and when I come out I go up to desk agsin and said where are the luggage carts? The rude snotty Mexican said we don’t have any carts. I said excuse me? She said well we do have 1 but a guest must have it locked in their room. I said are you telling me this entire hotel has only 1 luggage cart for guests? She said yep. I said well I clearly picked the wrong hotel didn’t I !!! So I walked outside and decide to drag all my luggage and bags in by hand. I do so and when I walk In with them she goes Um you can’t wait in here. I said WHAT??? She said because if COVID we don’t allow guests to sit in here. Bogus Covid crap excuse!!! I looked at her and said I’m calling Priceline and you’re gonna refund my money because this hotel Is Horrible!! She said we can agree to refund but it will take about 5-7 business days I said whatever you couldn’t pay me to spend any time here. I called Priceline and they were in 100% agreement with me and they asked me if I want to file a formal complaint. You’re absolutely right I do and did do. I’m posting this review on every travel website I can find because I’ve never been treated so rotten in my life. General orRegional Wingate Manager needs to train their personnel to better accommodate guests! Awful experience!!
Dont cone here if you want breakfast or need a business center or sit in the lobby

We arrived at the property on Monday night. The rooms are clean but the property is a little bit dated . It was important that we were able to extend our check out 1 hour later. Which is not guaranteed but a reasonable request since i was told by the clerk that there was low occupancy the next day. The general manager i spoke with was curt and didn’t seem to give a blank about my circumstances and told me that we must vacate the property by 11:00 no exceptions. And we were not allowed to sit n the lobby and wait. We must leave the property. How rude can you get. The excuse was covid delta. They could not explain why just 1week prior we stayed At win gate in Irving/ los colinas which is also in the Dallas area . They have a full breakfast and you More than than welcome to hang out in the lobby. I don’t think hotels are required to close the lobby to the customers by law. Dont stay here if you need anything like the lobby, business center or breakfast (which is supposed to be included with wingate By wyndham) In all fairness the room is adequate. I would not stay here again . As a business owner myself it is not a big deal to make reasonable accommodations and not be rude to the guest.
Not a 3 star hotel…maybe a 2 at best!

We just traveled through Montana and Canada and stayed at numerous hotels. This was by far the worst! Upon arriving at DFW airport after midnight, we found we had a flat tire. After changing the tire and making to the hotel it was close to 3 AM. The staff wasn’t friendly. Our room was subpar! The toilet wasn’t working properly, there was grease on the headboard, the bathroom framing around the mirrors were broken, and there was a rusty plumbing entrance in the ceiling that could have easily been painted. To top it off we woke up at 10:15 and called for an extra 30 minutes to check out and they refused. I asked for a comment card when leaving and they didn’t have one. We will not be staying here a second time. If you are looking for a dungeon like atmosphere with no lighting and not maintained, this is the hotel for you.

Beds are comfortable. Bring your own toilet paper, theirs is 1 ply sandpaper. When we left for the day, upon our return, housekeeping removed our towels hanging over the shower and our bath rug and didn’t replace them. The night staff was polite. When we were checking out to let them know we had no towels, we were informed that towels are only given upon request. Kinda lame. Breakfast wasn’t provided, but Cindy’s restaurant was a great breakfast place! Ate there both days!
An okay visit

Check in process was easy and front staff in the daytime was polite. The gym was closed due to Covid precautions. There was no continental breakfast even though it stated on their website. I could hear housekeeping opening and closing doors at 6:30 in the morning. There were a lot of other guest putting the trash out in the hallways to be picked up unsure how often he does get picked up.Left during the day came back to all the use towels being taken by housekeeping, but they were not replaced. I tried calling the front desk but it continue to ring so I went down to the front desk and there were a handful of other people waiting to request items. Night staff seem to be more irritated with the requests and it seemed as if they did not have a lot of clean towels or sheets.
