Better the 2nd Time
2nd visit a year later. Hotel seems more organized. All employees were friendly. No food service due to COVID, but the is a Starbucks right next door. The place was clean & safety precautions were being followed.
Courtyard That Hits All The Checkmarks
This is a newer Courtyard that does everything a Courtyard is supposed to do. Room was standard 2019 design with the bed facing the window and a loveseat sized couch by the window. Staff was efficient and parking was easy. The hotel is on the side of an interstate and there was a nice common area by the highway embarkment. Hats off to the landscape designer that came up with this scheme.
Beautifully appointed but sadly walls are thin
New modern hotel with spacious and nicely appointed lobby. Our room was clean and comfortable but we could hear our neighbors talking in the room next to ours -- conversational volume. We could also hear Interstate-64 (and see it from our window!). Water pressure in the shower was disappointing and the water is soft so be prepared to feel soapy -- even when you're not! We were there May 12 so COVID pandemic restrictions were being enforced. I would stay here again but would ask for a room facing away from the interstate and without neighbors on either side. Starbucks and several restaurants (Blaze, Red Robin) within walking distance.
Great hotel, wonderful staff
This Courtyard is centrally located and is a great place to stay. It's a new hotel and the rooms are very modern and clean. The gym is better than most hotel gyms and even has a spin bike. What makes this hotel great are the employees. From the front desk staff to the Bistro team, everyone is so friendly and works hard to provide excellent service. And the Bistro food is really, really good. The chicken pot pie is outstanding! This is my fifth stay at this hotel and will always stay here when I'm in the Lou! The only problem is that this hotel sells out frequently, which is a true testament to the hotel and staff quality.
NYE
We find a hotel for NYE every year. So we chose this location because it was near Dillard’s and the sale was happening the next morning. My husband didn’t care for the night staff. The doors were already locked when we arrived and they looked at us hitting the intercom button a while before they thought to let us in. Other than that, i have no complaints about the hotel. Our room was what we expected. Hotel was quiet and we had a great evening.
