TLDR: Overall, my stay was great and I would stay here again. I liked that they were dog-friendly (without restrictions or high fees) and the service and food was good. I had issues with the WiFi but it was resolved. I love that this hotel is dog-friendly and they don't charge you an arm and a leg to bring them and don't have any breed restrictions. Plus, since their restaurant/café is in their lobby, you can bring your dog with you to eat, which I loved. Upon arriving, the check in process went very smoothly and everyone was kind when my dog and I arrived. When we got our room key, we headed upstairs and the first impression of my room was a very good one. However, the longer you're in the room, the more some of the "flaws" appear. The "flaws" I saw were a dirty couch, dusty tv and coffee tables, only decaf K-cup coffee pods for the Keurig, and a bed sheet tucked into the mattress used in place of a fitted sheet for my bed. None of these things were deal breakers, for me, though. As someone who has a dog and has been to some pet friendly hotels, this is definitely a nice one and pet lovers/havers will enjoy their stay and it should meet their standards. However, non-pet lovers/havers, you most likely will be a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms and may get annoyed at the presence of dogs in rooms, lobbies, and elevators. But with that, I was fine with the state of the room. I do think the couch could've been cleaner and my mattress didn't have a fitted sheet, just a bed sheet tucked into the mattress corners, but for a one night stay with my dog, it was a great visit. Also I will say that I had zero issues with water pressure or hot water - in fact my shower was very relaxing/enjoyable and perfectly hot. I think the sink looks like it's low pressure because it's a big sink but a small spout and the spout is too close to the back of the sink so it looks like low pressure but it's not. So all in all, I would stay here again and I do recommend them!

Unsanitary

This is place is pretty bad in terms of cleanliness and basic amenities. I was heartbroken to discover that the other reviews were accurate. There was no running water for two rooms, and they were dirty. The rooms had so much dust, dirt, and grease everywhere to the extent that it looked uncleaned and destroyed by prior guests. It was unsanitary and unsafe for my two young kids. The woman who helped refund my money was extremely efficient, professional, and courteous, but she did not bat an eye when I raised the issues. I will assume that the problems are known and frequent issues. I know that times are tough and that you may be understaffed. I hope that they will be able to resolve these issues for other guests so that it is reflective of the positive reputation of other Graduate chains. This hotel can’t continue to reasonably or sustainably operate when minimum basic standards for cleanliness and safety are not being met. These concerns are especially critical during the time of an evolving pandemic.

Did not get the room we booked. There was hardly any lighting in our first room. When we moved to the next room, it stunk of cigarettes and other musky smells. The only option to park was valley, which is awful. Extremely disappointing experience.

NO HOT WATER AND BAD WATER PRESSURE!

First morning there - lukewarm sink and shower with little water pressure so super fast shower in not cold but room temp water. Not good. Asked the cleaning person in the hall about it. She said it's an ongoing problem and to let it run a long time beforehand and that they are working on it. I incorrectly thought she meant working on it now and not a generalized thing. 2nd morning - still lukewarm water and little pressure so I told the front desk about it. They said it's been a problem and that they will send someone to look at it. 3rd morning - still no hot water at the sink but I did get warmer water in the shower but still super low pressure. Hard to rinse off shampoo and shaving in cool water meant razor burns. This was a hotel version of roughing it and I had no time to change hotels since it was over Thanksgiving and I had no time to go over this with them when I checked out since I was late for a flight. But since day 1 they knew they had a problem and still put me in that room. Poor service.

Bring your own sheets & make your own bed

We arrived at midnight to grating music in the lobby and a lukewarm welcome at the front desk and had to wait for the valet to get our car (no self-parking). We got to our room & found one of the beds didn't have a fitted/bottom sheet on it. We were told no other rooms were available, so waited 20 minutes for a sheet to arrive & made the bed ourselves. No apologies from the staff. I have loved the other Graduate hotels I have stayed at. Not this one.
