Great Hotel & Exceptional Customer Service

A very nice and modern hotel with great customer service. We were treated exceptionally well by the staff with a very warm and welcoming experience with Matthew Wiler. Room was very clean and the food was delicious.

We usually stop here on our travels back and forth to FL. We like it because it is so clean. Close to 95 it is an ray on and off. Rooms and bathrooms are good size. There is a well equipped gym and small pool that is possible to swim in if not optimal. We were lucky to be upgraded to the club floor and had a great breakfast. We will be back.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel this weekend. I have stayed in many Westin properties over the years and this property does not live up to the brand’s name. I will start with the appearance of the rooms. The room I was given, 512, was worn and in dire need of a refresh from the worm and battered baseboards, to the bubbling wallpaper and shower with mildew and mild. The overall room decor is also gray (literally), gloomy and void of any style. The HVAC system in the rooms make so much noise, I found it very hard to sleep. Speaking of sleep, one of the Westin’s appeals used to be the heavenly bed. There was nothing heavenly about this bed. It was an ordinary memory mattress and not comfortable. I repeat- this is not a 4.5 star hotel. There were also teenagers staying at the property who went up and down the hallways slamming doors, kicking doors, talking loudly at 11p and beyond. I forgot my tooth brush and called down to the front desk to request one and was told that they had them available but did not have staff to bring one to me. That’s just unacceptable. I am so disappointed in my stay that I will never book a Westin anywhere else again.

Great Hotel in Richmond

Nice modern 4 star hotel. Room was modern and well appointed. Very fast complimentary internet, wired and WiFi. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice bed and linens. Lots of free parking and has free chargers for electric cars. Would not hesitate to return.

The Westin Richmond was very nice; lobby, restaurant and bar area is all well done and modernized. Small Batch restaurant right off the Lobby was very good. My room as a lifetime platinum was upgraded to a suite- very spacious and comfortable. The concierge lounge was re-open. We were in town for a funeral and for breakfast in the Lounge I’d like to give a special shout out to Cindy; she was exceptional and very friendly. The best part of this hotel was the amazing Staff, very kind and accommodating. Great service, friendly smiles.
