More about the hotel
A new, great hotel with very kind staff
Very nice hotel, tidy room, kind and really helpful staff. Great for a quick stop or even more days in Rio. Botafogo is a calm neighborhood, you can easily go to the shopping center or at the Botafogo little beach. Very nice view just outside the hotel, one side Pao de Acucar and the other side the Corcovado mountain.
Really Helpful
The staff at this hotel were exceptionally helpful. They provided us with great information and, as we had to leave for an early flight, arranged for our breakfast to be ready at 04:30. Two adults and two children stayed in one room with one double and two single rooms. It was a good size and the beds were comfy. The location of the hotel was very convenient and it was good value.
Great location and value for money. Breakfast could be better
Great location and value for money. Installations are relatively new and of good quality. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast could be better. Beds are very comfortable and we were able to get a room with 2 single and one double bed.
Small hotel with a great location!
I stayed in this hotel for one night and I have to say it is a good one. The hotel is cozy and it has been recently remodeled (i think so since it has a modern decoration). The rooms are small; however, they are comfortable enough and really clean. A good breakfast is included and the staff is really friendly. The location is perfect, you have a shopping mall two blocks away, the beach is within a 10 minute walk, and you have the metro station and bus stop close by that will take you to any of the main turistic atractions. Also, you will find Fogo de Chao closeby which is one of the best Rodizio restaurants you will find in Rio.
Convenient but unremarkable
The good side: Very convenient and comfort was average, nothing special but okay. Clean and pleasant common areas. Bed was comfy enough, shower was good. Existing reading light was a mystery, couldn't find a switch anywhere. Central location to public transport, shopping centre, cinemas and within short walk/ride to postcard places like Sugarloaf, Santa Teresa, Corcovado (Christ statue). Friendly staff and fairly good value. The not-so-good side: Breakfast very basic, unremarkable. Bedroom very very small but expected as there are many rooms in a converted old colonial house. Botafogo is an old neighbourhood, with a lot of history and architecture but the hotel couldn't be any more bland and nondescript. Zero character apart from the façade and the breakfast space. But okay that's just aesthetics. Decent place overall.
