Gorgeous hotel
I stayed here in October for a hastily rescheduled trip after France was no longer possible. I thought that the hotel looked nice on the website but was expecting to be disappointed. I was delighted with the hotel and the staff, I increased the two night stay to three and would have stayed longer but borders and travel were becoming restricted. We ate in the hotel on two nights ,once in the bistro and once in the gourmet restaurant ( I preferred the food in the bistro) both were very good as were drinks in the bar. The spa looked very nice but I didn't get chance to try it. We had a lake view junior suite , the room was lovely and the views stunning Once the situation with the virus improves I will be returning
Magical
I just wrote a review of a not-so-great hotel experience we had outside of NYC last weekend, so thought I owed it to the site to write a very belated review of a really great hotel we had the good fortune of staying in last autumn when we were in Northern Italy. (It was actually November 2019, but the dropdown options only went back to December.) The Lido Palace is every bit what it appears to be on its website -- a gorgeous palazzo that has been beautifully renovated in a very elegant contemporary style and set in lovely grounds at the dramatic head of Lago di Garda (picture from one of our windows attached). Our room was spacious and spotless, service was impeccable, and the whole stay could not have been better. Would go back in an instant (if only such a think were possible these days!) Could not recommend more highly.
Wonderful hotel. Great location!
We made a quick trip to Italy before the second lockdown and so glad we did. We felt so comfortable at the hotel. The staff made us feel so welcome. Everything was clean and safe and precautions were used everywhere. We were able to use the pool, spa, gym, restaurant. We were upgraded because the hotel was not full. Much appreciated. Food was so good. Loved hearing live music in the restaurant too.
An Excellent Hotel in a Great Location
We stayed here for a long weekend and really wished we had booked for longer. Even with the Covid restrictions, the hotel manged to deliver an excellent experience. The hotel is in the best location with amazing views over the lake and very easy access to the main town. We loved the modern decor to the bedrooms, which were really comfortable and well equipped. The air conditioning was very effective and quiet. The bedrooms were also really quiet with effective sound insulating doors. The food was high quality along with the hotel facilities. This won't be our last visit to this excellent hotel in a beautiful location
Stunning...everything about the hotel is stunning
We went to the Lido Palace as a surprise trip for my partner’s birthday. The communication pre arrival to ensure it was a special few days was quick and very helpful. On arrival we were welcomed and shown to the bar for a snack whilst our room was made ready. The bar snack has to be the best ever burrata, tomatoes and basil I have ever tasted. The room looked over the lake and had utterly stunning views. We ate in the first night as it was my partners birthday. At €90 per person exc wine it isn’t a cheap evening but the food was out of this world. I can not fault the service, the location or the quality of food at this hotel. I only wish we’d had chance to sample the spa while we were there. Just beautiful in every way.
