We had a beach view. Room had been updated. Lovely shower, Glass walk-in with rain forest shower head. Open staircase and staff on arrival helps with bags to 3rd floor. All staff masked even working on the grounds. Lots of staff. Had the pool to ourselves most days. Breakfast was an island style experience. The restaurant surprised us with awesome food for lunch. Ate there 4 times out of a week in the afternoon. I still miss those lovely salads and burgers we had. Delicious. Good chef. Just be patient. We were there to relax and we did. Weather was great.

I stayed at Blue Horizon Hotel in Rockley, Christ Church on the beautiful island of Barbados. I was not pleased at all with my room. It was old. But my mum loved the sea view so we stayed 2 nights for her birthday. She enjoyed it. The building they put us in is the outdated rooms. It really needs work. But the resort is nice and the staff is exceptionally pleasant. Sorry, I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were generally pleasant and helpful although the restaurant staff perhaps need more training. The receptionists were very helpful in assisting with the business centre usage. Would stay again

Just spent 8 nights as part of a cricket tour. Hotel was right next to the amazing beach. We were lucky enough to have a balcony that looked out to sea. The staff were friendly and generally everything at the hotel was fine, with clean rooms that were well equipped for our needs. The main issue was the slow and chaotic service at breakfast, it got there in the end but seemed very random and almost as if staff were surprised by people coming down for breakfast in a hotel. If you are looking for a base to stay that is reasonably priced, you will be fine here though.

Covid isolation

I have had to stay here due to covid isolation and the company booked this property. I have got a room on the 4th floor no elevator so I had to carry all my belongings up. The room was noisy,definitely needed improvements in regards to cleaning +++ and maintenance. Ordered breakfast at 7 am arrived 45 minutes later,to have my Cereals with a fork. Staff members lazy and rude. Requested the receptionist to have the shower checked as I didn't have hot water nor as a good water pressure clean towels and my room floor to be cleaned because as soon as i stepped on the floor my feet were black from the dust, bath without a plug and.She said she will send someone to check the bath and I will have to mop up the room if I want it clean. A few hours later a guy came,wasn't bothered at all to fix the problem.And guess what after I have eaten my Cereals with a fork at midday a spoon arrived. Disappointed as how I was treated and the lack of management. Would not recommend this place.
