My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October 2016, and thanks to our decision to upgrade to a Club Room, we had an excellent stay. Due to our experience, we recommended that our daughter and her boyfriend book the same upgrade for their visit in Nov. 2021 (now). Unfortunately, their experience is very different. Firstly, in 2016 we enjoyed a quiet breakfast every morning in the special dining room for upgraded guests. Now, although our daughter paid the same fee for an upgrade as we did, they were told that they have to eat breakfast in the main dining room which is crowded and noisy. Although their room is spacious, the service is poor. Their air-conditioner does not work and though they reported it, no one has addressed the problem. I tried to call the hotel several times and it is impossible to get through. I also sent a text message yesterday but received no reply. Our daughter and boyfriend are in Rome to celebrate a special occasion and we, her parents, are very sorry that we recommended the Accademia with upgrade.
Great Location and Spacious

We have stayed at this location in the past and chose to stay again. Although we were met with some small issues due to the hotel just re-opening, they were fixed and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel rooms are very spacious and the location is wonderful.

Autumn in Rome

We spend 6 nights in the Accademia Hotel in Rome and we loved it! We had a generous, comfortably and very stylish furnished room with a very good bed, everything in high quality. The hotel is perfectly situated near Fontana di Trevi, many spots in centro storico are in walking distance, what we did most of the time. The only thing which needs to be improved is the wifi coverage in the room, in our room it did only work close to the door. But this is only a small detail, the rest was magnificent.

I found this hotel when looking for somewhere to stay on a recent business trip. I have to say it was the geat price (book on their website its the chepest), that made me book it. The location is the best, walking distance to spanish steps, trevi fountain and panadon. Lots of restauntants and bars near by. I will be back in Rome in July and have already looked into staying there again. The one and only down side was the bathrooms in the normal rooms. To say they are very very small is an understatement. If you were a larger person you could not use the bathroom. The only only issue was the fact that for a twin/double room for two people there was only 1 plug socket so we could only charge one phone at a time, as we were using adapters for travelling.
