Very average hotel

The locations is the only plus point as its on the quieter side close to the main train station only 5 minutes walk. But stuff seem little stressed and even when I email them days before to ask for a suitable room for a small child they placed us on the top floor. Problems with the hot water also. Will not go back again, lots of other options nearby.

My vacation was on Christmas and near year, the hotel is good with the money you pay for, good location and good breakfast (it needs to be more varied). The best thing is location because near Rome Termini. Internet was v.good within this period.

Stayed here in November for 4 nights. Slightly chaotic as building work being carried out, so combined with Hotel Luce. Hotel a bit tired, but room, bathroom and towels all clean. Great central location for Termini. No lounge/bar to relax in in evening after sightseeing, and only English speaking news channels, so nothing in way of entertainment. Completely underwhelming breakfast - room cold due to building works (had to keep my coat on), plastic cups for juice and no hot food. For the €12 they charge for breakfast, you'd be better off going to local cafes.
Good location, larger than expected

The Hotel Archimede bills itself as a 4 star, but is really a 2 star. The location is good, rooms are clean, shower is a good size. The hotel definitely has delayed maintenance on many items, as tiles were loose on the floor and you could see where ceilings in the hall had been damaged and not properly repaired. However there was plenty at breakfast and it was good, though we would have appreciated some hot food options. I would recommend if you require basic accommodation.
Old hotel, not upto 4 stars mark

This is an old hotel, which as soon as you enter you realise needs a bit of uplift. Although the rooms are decent, considering that they call themselves 4 star, I expect bit more out of the room in terms of room size. Pros: Located just outside the Termini station, it is a very convenient location for travel and food, sleep quality is good. Cons: Room size, dated hotel and some (not all) staff are not very interested in their work.
