More about the hotel
Worst hotel ever
The smell of damp was apparent from the moment we opened the door and the smell from the shower enclosure brought tears to my eyes. There were 2 sockets one of which was hanging out of the wall with exposed wires and the other sparked when you plugged anything in. There was no hot water not even warm water just freezing cold no matter how long you let it run, the staff were aware of this but never commented on this being fixed. We had booked for 5 nights but stayed 1 night then found alternative accommodation. I appreciate this is a 2 star but didn’t even meet basic needs. I would have rated this zero if possible.
Scary!
It is awful! I have never felts that scared in a hotel before. The basic clients are immigrants and some of them had quite a criminal look with tattoos on their faces. It seems to me that the Booking agents have never visited it. The site description has nothing to do with the reality. I left the hotel and went to Hotel d'Este, which I recommend. The price is almost the same.
The worst hotel I've ever visited!
1.No clean sheets and towels for 5 days. 2. The elevator was old and often out of order 3. The A/C wasn't ok 4. The receptionists were unkind and they want extra money for clean towels 5.No room service!
CHEAP and comfortable
For the price, it is an excellent place to stay. Within walking distance of Termini and everything close to Termini. Sure, it is not a luxury hotel, but that is not what you pay for. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are spotless and that is all we wanted. Thank you, Hotel Lella, we enjoyed our stay with you.

The wifi didn’t work in my room at all for the whole 4 nights I stayed there, which meant that I had to use expensive data roaming on my mobile (or sit in the cramped reception where the wifi did work), even after speaking with 2 different members of staff about it on different occasions, and having been assured by them that it would be working again shortly. The hair dryer didn’t work, the bathroom had a bad smell to it, the shower curtain wasn’t wide enough to prevent water spraying over the floor when showering, the room’s curtain adjuster cords didn’t work, the windows didn’t shut fully which meant listening to the noise of people and traffic outside while trying to sleep, the walls are thin which means hearing the people in the adjacent room, and one morning there was no hot water, which meant a cold shower. It seems that they have not addressed problems which have been mentioned long ago on Trip Advisor reviews. There were some willing and helpful receptionists, but one was particularly lacklustre and unhelpful.
