Honest price and friendly staff

Reviewed 15 december, 2019

We were left on the street when our reservation went wrong in another hotel and we were able to spend the night here last minute. 60 euros for one night (tourist tax was included, no surprises) and friendly staff. Room was spacious enough, street noise was quite loud but with shutters and curtains the room could be made really dark (great to sleep in). Breakfast was small but really cosy. Staff was very compliant and happy. Requests were no issue. Great options for vegans. Soy milk and cereal as well as bread. We recommend this hotel for a short stay, very close to termini station.

Basically just a left luggage store

An ugly looking hotel with very rude staff, the first receptionist spoke perfect English when greeting us then quickly couldn't say a word when we asked any follow up questions to his initial instructions. Later, the second receptionist was very blunt, unhelpful and unwelcoming. The entire reception area was basically being used as a luggage storage area, there was no room to swing a cat - awful place that I'll not be returning to.

Across Street from Termini Station Rome

Reviewed 8 october, 2019

Hotel Mirage is literally across the street from the Side Entrance to the Termini Station. The price is very reasonable for such a great location. The room is average for around the Termini Station. Functional. The Breakfast is a few rolls and jelly. The Breakfast Room is pleasant as is the wait staff. I found that the front desk was helpful enough considering the low cost. I was ill in bed one full day. This made me grateful for being close to the Termini Station and all of the stores in Termini (grocery, pharmacy, etc). Getting to our train to the airport was a breeze even though I was recovering from being ill. If you want a Hilton Hotel type accommodations, then stay at the Best Western down the street as did our friends from home. But they paid about 3x as much as we did with no breakfast and a longer walk to the Termini Station.

Worst Hotel - Cheaters

Reviewed 2 october, 2019

My booking (cca. 78 EUR per night) was cancelled on they of arrival (!) but they immediately offered me new room 126 EUR / night. They mentioned problems with credit card, but another hotel accepted my booking right after this trouble and there was no problem. NEVER STAY HERE for any night(s).

Never coming back here

Reviewed 26 june, 2019

One night was more than enough for this hotel, it was a nightmare! we arrived and there was no one at the reception to open the door. We booked this place because it is close from Termini station, they had an elevator and booking.com said it was wheelchair friendly. . . Well, to get to the elevator you must climb some stairs first and they had a "ramp" that I tried to use but my wheelchair felt backward because it was too high!! I could have been really hurt. Then the room, we ordered a double we got a twin, we had to put the beds together, no wifi password anywhere we needed to call to get it, the worst part was the bathroom, the toilet was sooo dirty and I needed a plastic chair to take a shower cause I can't walk, when we asked for it and said why we needed the chair for they just replied "sorry you should have booked it before your arrival, we cannot give you anything" as a result I couldn't take a shower, It was disgusting to use the toilet and we slept very bad trying no to fell from the separation in the beds. WORST SERVICE EVER.
