Cheapest place to stay and nearby buses to centre
Room: Good - comfortable. / clean bathroom and great shower. Area: Far out from the city but nearby buses are great - every 5 min buses. Staff: friendly and attentive. Food & drinks: Great - plenty of restaurants/cafe/shops around.
Basic but clean and welcoming
This is an Italian hotel and nobody speaks much English. It also appears to be attached to a religious house as one floor appears to be dedicated to the monks. Don't let this put you off as they are entirely separate and in the week we were there met two monks in passing. The rooms are kept very clean and ours was roomy with shower and toilet. They are twin beds and very basic with just beds and a table and chair. No T.V. To get to the metro station you have to go down a fairly steep hill. The nearest bars and restaurants are about 200 yards away most down the hill.
Comfortable and good price
For an affordable price you can have a nice clean and cosy single room with own bathroom. The room is rather small, but sufficient. Some of the staff members might have troubles speaking English, but it was not much of a problem. The place is ca. 10 minutes walking to the metro station (Battistini) and then ca. 10 – 15 minutes to get to the city centre by metro. The breakfast is really Italian, so do not expect anything special.
Casa accoglienza a prezzi imbattibili
Non la chiamerei "Casa per Ferie" per il semplice fatto che è una struttura spartana,con servizi spartani. Nulla da eccepire sulla gentilezza del personale e dell'opera meritoria dei gestori della Casa per le varie attività, ma non aspettatevi di dormire in un Hotel o in un B&B, sia chiaro (colazione compresa). Ed infatti il prezzo è imbattibileE' un luogo dove passare la notte perchè magari il giorno dopo devi trovarti in quella particolare zona della città.
Insomma
Situata in periferia in una zona desolata senza possibilità di uscire per un caffè, un gelato o anche una bottiglia d’acqua! La metro dista 600 metri e la strada oltre ad essere in salita è buia e sporca, quindi avendo due bambini ho passato le sere in camera, tra l’altro la struttura ci ha avvisati solo al nostro arrivo che il bar interno era chiuso 😒 Tutto sommato la posizione non è male visto che con i mezzi in 20 minuti si arriva in piazza del popolo. Colazione buona ma cena terrificante servita in stile mensa di basso livello e di qualità scarsa Camere accettabili anche se pulite superficialmente.. abbiamo trovato residui di cibo sotto i letti 😵 Non credo di tornarci, pur apprezzando la valenza sociale della struttura
