Excellent place to stay in Rome
This is the best place I've stayed in Rome so far and I definitely won't be looking for another one. Located at 10min on foot from the Vatican, this historical building is very welcoming and modern renovated. The rooms are very nice and clean. I've booked the simplest room and I was offered an upgrade but I didn't need it because my room was great. Very quiet, with a big comfortable bed, modern and clean bathroom. The safe is free of charge and in the minibar you find a bottle of water daily. A very nice service that I've appreciated. For the ladies with long hair... no need to pack a hair dryer ;) The hair dryer is really good, not like the 'short for dying' you usually find in hotels. For Fabrizio nothing seems to be too much trouble, he is always ready and happy to help you. From the reservation, early check-in, taxi arrangements, everything I needed was possible and came with a smile. Very friendly and helpful, always a pleasure to meet such wonderful people. To start the day in the Italian style, the breakfast is served at the coffee shop right next to the hotel. You can choose your favorite coffee, a pastry (there's a good variety, I didn't manage to taste everything) and fresh pressed orange juice. Enough energy to start exploring Rome. All the main attractions are within a 15-20min walk from the hotel: Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Colosseo... If you don't feel like walking you can take an e-scooter. You can find them everywhere in the city, and the hotel is located in an area where you can lock them. I've had a great weekend here and I can't wait to be back.
Excellent Small Hotel near to all sites
We stayed at the Palazzo Meduzza in March 2019. Were impressed by the hotel rom which was very comfortable light and airy with daily bottled water supplied. Staff were very helpful with recommendation of local restaurants which we tried. We could walk to the Vatican in 10 minutes and many of the Palazzos were only 10 minutes walk away. The staff organised transport to and from the airport which was really helpful and we kept in tough with Whats App. We had a great stay in Rome and would have no hesitation in recommending this small hotel, it does not have a lobby or a restaurant but makes up for this with the helpfulness of staff, and the tourists sites so close.
Boutique Hotel with perfect location
This small boutique hotel is perfect if you want to live within walking distance to most of the sights, it is a great choice for first-timers! The staff is very helpful, friendly, good service and provide insiders tips for what to do and where to eat. We had a great time here.
A great place to enjoy Rome
Stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 days. Pros: 1) It’s in a good location, close to the Vatican and to Piazza Novona, where there are lots of great restaurants and entertainment! 2) We had a Deluxe room, which was large, well decorated and quiet 3) Bathroom was large and had a good hair dryer! 4) Although there was no front desk, it was easy to get in touch with the staff via WhatsApp and they responded quickly (for example, the hot water temporarily stopped working - we messaged them and it was fixed immediately) A few opportunities for improvement: 1) The cleaning lady would turn off the air conditioning every day. After being out in the blistering heat all day it would have been great to return to a nice cool room, but alas, they turned it off when cleaning. 2) The cleaning lacked attention to detail - the shower had visible mold and the shower head needed a good clean, but these could easily both be fixed (pics provided) 3) a few little issues like hot water running out and our air conditioner not turning on - but these were taken care of immediately once we informed the staff A general thing to note for ladies coming to Europe from North America: European hotels do not provide conditioner - just shampoo. If you need to condition your hair, be sure to bring your own! Overall, a great place to stay in Rome!
A perfect location for someone who knows a little about Rome
I'm not sure I would recommend this for a first-timer, but I was treated as a friend here. I had a single room, and it was quite comfortable. I had to turn off the A/C sometimes. Ramin's suggestions for restaurants were absolutely right. Next time, I hope to come back with my wife. I know she'll like it. -- Steve
