Excellent hostess and location
Such a brilliant location for Vatican City. Quiet location despite being on one of Rome's busy roads. Remember when seeking to check in that you are looking for a private residence rather than an obvious entrance.
Basic but great location.
Stayed in Rome for our first time for a weekend in july ( extremely hot ++). Arrived here and Francesca's brother came to let us in. There were 3 of us and we landed a quadruple room. Room is basic ( literally 4 beds and a bathroom). Wifi is free and there is maid service available everyday. Thank goodness the room has air con for this temperature. Unfortunately there was no safe, but we learned to adapt. A base to have whilst exploring this beautiful city. Can be quite noisy as it is situated on the main road. However it is legit 2 mins walk to the Vatican from this location. To walk to the main part of rome - does generally take 30 mins (longer in the heat). My advice is to get the metro situated just round the corner.
Magical City
We just got back from 6 wonderful days in Rome! My husband & I stayed at the Quovadis and we were more than comfortable there. Francesca was an absolute sweetheart who waited for us outside of the hotel for over an hour even though our flight into Rome was delayed. The room/bathroom was always clean and the A/C ran beautifully especially after a hot afternoon of walking all throughout the city. The mattress was so firm that my back has never felt better! I now realize our new mattress at home has been the cause of my back/neck pain. It was central to walking to the Vatican museums which are literally 2 blocks away and the metro was a 5 min walk. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and there is lots of shopping and restaurants to venture to! The hotel is situated behind locked doors from the street and has a courtyard inside. When we were in our room, we never even heard noise from the street. One night we even took a bottle of wine and sat in the grass in the courtyard and stared up at the stars and just relished being in this wonderful city. Maybe we weren't supposed to do that as there are locals that live there also, but we were very, very quiet! :) I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome! Thank you Francesca for your friendly hospitality!
Comfortable accommodation, very close to the Vatican
We spent a very pleasant three days here, a comfortable (2 persons), clean, perfect room, seamless management, beautiful garden inside the building, airport transport and a lovely manager, Francesca. It's very close to Vatican. We'll have to come back here :)
Great stay right next to the Vatican
Thanks to Pasquale and company, we had a wonderful stay at this inn. Pasquale arraigned our transportation from the airport and to the cruise port and saw to it all personally. Even to waiting with us for the driver on our day of departure. If anything, this place exepceeded our expectations. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Lots of coffee in the room. Great beds. Wide window ledge to sit on a and gaze out at the view. Good water pressure in the shower. Quick elevator. Quiet courtyard. My only regret was we couldn't stay longer. It's a great neighborhood with lots of cafes and shops and walk right out to the museum entrance. 5 minutes to the metro stop. Pasquale let us store our luggage on the departure day so we could go wandering again. With the market closely, this could be a very nice weeklong stay and quite budget friendly. Pasquale, molto gentile di parte di Sui!
