Long weekend
The perfect place to stay... Beautiful room, incredibly central, we spent three lovely days wandering around Rome: from Pincio to the Colosseum and the Vatican City. Can’t wait to come back (when the feet have recovered!)
Beautiful Spot in the Centre of Rome
A wonderful host and place to stay! When we arrived for our stay, an issue with the hotel's booking system left us without a room for the first night. However, the host went above and beyond to remedy the issue. He had a room booked for us right around the corner (in another beautiful hotel) and assisted us completely with arranging our luggage and with transfer to the hotel. We had his phone number in case of any issues, and he made sure we were taken care of. Following our night at the other hotel, he let us know that we could leave our luggage where it was and go enjoy our day- he then transferred all of our luggage back to the Residenza Cavallini for the rest of our stay. Although some people may have been unhappy with the unexpected situation, we understand that these things happen. This host handled the situation in the kindest manner and ensured that we were well taken care of the entire trip. The Residenza Cavallini itself is a beautiful place to stay. Our room was comfortable and had working WIFI. We stayed in the summer, and the air conditioning worked well. Everything was within walking distance from this hotel. Additionally, we were greeted with a lovely breakfast in the morning, which we were able to eat on the patio overlooking the city. When we were leaving, our host assisted us in organizing a taxi to the airport, and waited with us until its arrival. He was a very kind and thoughtful host, and we would certainly return to this hotel if we visit Rome again.
Great location, very nice owner, decent sized room
I stayed here during the lockdown in Italy due to corona virus. Still, the room was cleaned, and the owner was very friendly giving advice as much as he could in a constantly changing situation. The location of this small hotel is top, very close to the St Peter basilic and close to the Spanish steps and piazza del Popolo. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. There are also several minimarkets and a Carrefour Express nearby. The room is pretty large, with a small table and a desk-like table as well as 2 bedside tables. There is a water boiler and a fridge in the room (came in very handy as every restaurant was closed in town). Breakfast is served in a nearby Italian style cafe, which had great sweet pastries, the one day it was allowed to be open when I was visiting. Good wifi, and clearly rather newly renovated room. There is a small communal terrace.
Much recommended
My son and I stayed here recently for a few days. The location is superb, very central with nearly all attractions within walking distance. The place is only rated 3 stars but is exceptionally clean and run by polite and helpful staff. I don't think that for this price you will find anything better.
Pretty good
The best thing about this place is the location; I love Prati, and this place is located in a very strategic part of the area, close to Piazza Cavour. The bus stop to the airport is just there, which makes it very convenient. We had a small misunderstanding when we were to check in, but it was solved all right when we got to the place. The apartments are on the 5th floor, there is an old elevator in the building. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our room was very small, and if you are two persons with luggage, you may struggle a bit. It's all very clean though. The room has a fridge. Wifi is ok. Sleeping quality is quite poor though. We had the room just inside from the door to the hallway, so everytime anyone walked in or out, we heard it very loud. There is a safe in the room, though not attached to anything so the safety of it...I don't know. Bathroom is ok, but to get warm water, you need to put the shower of full speed for a LONG time, which felt like a total waste of water.
