The price and the location are great. The towels were replaced every day. The room didn't have an iron, fridge or a tea pot. Altogether, it's a fine deal for those who need a place to sleep and shower at the end of the day.
Very clean - Matched all expectations and then some

I stayed in the place for just a night with 3 other friends. The room was large and very clean as was the attached bathroom. The lift wasn't on when I reached quite late at night which was irritating (as I was carrying quite a large bag) but if it wasn't for the weight of the luggage, I don't think I would have really cared to be honest. On the day I flew out from Italy, I came in via train from Florence and needed a place to crash in for the day and I decided to come back in. Someone met me there and when I voiced concerns over not being able to call in a taxi, she made sure she called one, told me not to pay more that 48 Euros (the standard airport shuttle price) and texted me twice to give me updates about the taxi and did check in to say if I had reached safely. The place is quaint and lovely.

Residenza Sistina. My home during my short but meaningful visit in Rome. For lone or small group of travellers, this is a great place to stay. It's centrally located within the Vatican city, the room is cozy, the manager and Filipino staff are friendly and accommodating, and the best bonus for me - it's right beside Carrefour supermarket! I totally enjoyed buying salame and cheese for lunch and dinner at exceptionally good price! Thank you, #residenzasistina, Carlo and Edmond for a much enjoyable stay in your apartment! 🇮🇹❤

Had a lovely 3 night stay in this b&b. Very well located - easy to walk to the vatican and to a well connected Metro. I found Carlo, the owner, to be cheerful and very helpful. The breakfast was simple and located at a nearby cafe.We found the room to be very spacious and clean. All in all, it was great value for money in an expensive city.
The place is a damp. The walls are all dirty. Old elevator. When we arrived. No one was there,

The owner when he arrived he screamed at us in Italian. HE didn't have the 2 rooms for the 4 of us.. He insisted we had to pay even though we didn't want to stay. He threatened to call the police if we didn't. While I was able to locate the Best Western around the corner he proceeded to charge my credit card with trip advisor or the other agency, tpThe room price was overpriced. We ended up at the chain Marriott for 136 euros instead of 150 euros Sixtina was charging. Terrible experience after travelling for 15 hrs we had to look for a hotel. It is better to go to a chain at least you know what you are getting. We were able to get the money back through the credit card. We never ever had such a terrible experience. When booking a hotel don't trust the pictures. Talk directly with the hotel and pay when you arrive never pay ahead. From 0 to 5 this hotel is less than 1. They should charge 20 to 30 euros. It is a 4th class hotel. I was able to look inside a room and it looked like the room of my maid in South America. Terrible
