As peaceful, quiet and comfortable as it can get
Awesome breakfasts, nice big rooms, quiet location near Rome. Nothing great to see nearby, but you can get from here on train or car in 20 minutes to lots of beautiful places — lakes, castles, all the best European stuff.
Peaceful stay near Rome
We walked the Via Francigena and because of the extreme heatwave we were very early. The staff was friendly to accomodate us early. THANK YOU SO MUCH. The rooms was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we need! The staff assist us with Lunch and Dinner in the most beautiful rooms. We had a early checkout and again, the staff provide us with a lovely packed meal. THANK YOU!! This Hotel is situated in a Residential area, which is quiet and very safe, BUT this made it far from any Restaurant, Cafe’s and Bars / Trattorias. The swimming pool was out of order, this would be lovely in the extreme heat

I have friends you live in a nearby small apartment. They suggested another place for me to stay, but I was unsure of it, because it had a curfew. I did some research and decided on La Rocchetta. It's located in a residential area behind a gate resulting in quiet, relaxing, and birdsong-filled neighborhood. The rooms are spotless and while not luxurious, they are certainly very comfortable. On top of all this, the owner is incredibly nice. One time, despite arriving between lunch and dinner, the staff whipped me up a great meal at a very reasonable price. With that kind of service, it always feels like home. Stay here. You won't regret it.
Perfect hideaway outside Rome
Really nice, kind of b&b, former large private villa in a residential area. Rooms are simple but very nicely arranged. Offer even catering for dining. Nice breakfast. For who needs to stay on that area if Rome (a good 30/45’ from the center), it’s the perfect hideaway.
A great location with easy access to Rome centre, run by a charming lady owner
We have been three times: for us tranquillity of location, kindness and charm of owner make it a great place for your Roman explorations. At 10 mins walk there is a railway station on the Viterbo-Rome line. A few good restaurants near by complete the set-up Two gates protect your car as hotel car park is part of the package
