Outstanding Stay in Rome
My wife and I stayed here while visiting my daughter at college. We were very happy with everything. We arrived in the morning and were greeted by Leonardo and Roberto who immediately showed us around and brought us breakfast. This was the day of arrival and wasn't expecting that. Very clean, hospitality was top notch and the bed was the best. Very comfortable and allowed for a great sleep. These guys are outstanding and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. We will definately stay again when we return.
Nice Room, Building and Service need Work
My partner and I stayed here recently upon a trip to Rome. As soon as we were dropped off by our taxi we were very wary as the building has no obvious signage that you are at the right building and with only a metal gate as an entrance it isn't the idyllic place you dream about. After buzzing up and being let in through the first gate, you then arrive at a second gate (that without a key and the gentleman's lack of explanation) was impossible to get back into. When we arrived up the man did not have our reservation, so asked my partner for confirmation emails/papers which he showed. This left us feeling awkward. I wanted to change but was left changing on a corridor as our 'room was not ready' - it was, as I was allowed to use the restroom in there. When in the room it was lovely - English channels on the television would be a suggestion. The shower was very poor! There was no power behind it and it took a long while to warm up - my partner and I do love a powerful shower!! Whenever we asked the gentleman to ring us a taxi he explained where the taxi ranks were, but we obviously wanted him to order one to the hotel yet this seemed too much trouble. When leaving and entering the hotel there were the 2 locked gates and either a tiny, claustrophobic lift or 6 flights of stairs to go up! Not a relaxing atmosphere. The hospital is very close by so expect ambulances going past at every hour with very loud sirens!! Breakfast is served and left out in the hallway from 8:00/8:30am - none of the pastries are covered, the milk and juices end up room temperature and it just isn't appetising. I would never stay here again, but thank you
Cosy, well located, and very friendly
We stayed at Trastevere Relais for 4 nights and had an excellent time. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and our bathroom was modern and very pleasant. The colorful rooms reflect the whimsy of Alessandra, the owner and hostess. She was fun, very helpful, and very responsive. The breakfast table brought croissants still warm from the oven, and lively discussion from visitors from 4 different countries. We walked everywhere from the B&B, and especially liked the small restaurants in the Trastevere neighborhood. We would definitely go back!
Awesome stay!
This little B&B was perfect for my family while visiting Rome. It's located on the 3rd floor. The elevator wasn't working, but we knew that when we booked it and that wasn't a problem, even with all our luggage. Our suite was the 1st on the left when you entered the B&B. It was super clean and very stylish. The first room had 2 twin beds/cots which my 2 teenagers slept on and found very comfortable. A loveseat and flat screen was in the room also. The master was very spacious, had a mini fridge, dresser, large armoire, and a long bench. The window could be open and gave a view of the street below. Very quiet and no noise problems what-so-ever. The bathroom had a gorgeous shower with a radio! Running out of hot water was never a problem. We walked to a local café right around the corner every morning for breakfast. We also ate at various restaurants just minutes away. We LOVED this area, our suite and if we visit Rome again, this is where we will stay. We felt very safe at the B&B and area surrounding it as well.
Great location for the price
If you prefer to stay in Trastevere, this little B&B is a good option. The owners were very nice and considerate with our arrival times. It was clean and had everything you need when you are all day out walking the city. Walking distance to excellent restaurants.
