Great hotel and brilliant location for Termini
Reviewed 23 june, 2022
Not sure I've given 5 stars before. If you are arriving into/leaving from Termini then you can't get a better hotel than this. Hotel is one street back from Termini so just a couple of minutes walk. From the front door of the hotel it is just a few metres walk to Via Cavour which leads straight to Colleseum and Forum area, it's impossible to get lost. Hotel room looked onto central core but was on 4th floor so was still bright and airy, no traffic or other noise. . Room was not huge but big enough, bed was very comfortable, drinks fridge in room was good. Bathroom had a huge shower. Breakfast offered a good choice of fruit, cheeses etc. Definitely stay here again.

Recommended for a city trip if you do not want to travel long distances with your luggage

Very central location: 2 min walk to the metro, 4 min to the main railway station and 10 min to a nice area with many restaurants and bars. You can explore most of Rome's hot spots by walking from the hotel. Also easy to take a bike or e-scooter. Superior double room was not spacious, but ok for city trip. Room was clean, shower good and a/c worked well. Breakfast better than expected with fresh fruits, muesli, croissants, bacon and cold cuts. Service at the reception and restaurant was good. I would stay here again.

We loved this hotel! Location is amazing! Staff is super helpful and friendly. Restaurant was great and excellent service. We loved the breakfast. Beds are super comfortable. We had a king bed and roller bed for our son. We were in room 311 and it was very quiet and comfortable. We stayed three nights and enjoyed our time in Rome.

Only stayed here for one night in this lovely hotel in centre of Rome great location 2 min walk from Rome termini.Great room bar and restaurant but what I would really like to say is how wonderful the staff are.Myself and my wife travel often and I have to say the girl who checked us in was probably the nicest most pleasant we have come across couldn’t have been more helpful (apologies can’t recall her name)if I could give this hotel 11/10 I would will definitely go back for a longer stay.We booked through Hotels.com but will probably book direct next time.

Stayed at Una Decoroma for the 2nd time - just for 1 night as we extended our stay in Rome and the Hotel we stayed at, could not extend for all the days. Please also see my last review from June2015. Nothing has changed except below -The good- - not sure if they renovated (missed asking them) but the rooms looked very plush! My kids were with us this time and all of us were very impressed! - bed was….mmmmmm…soo sooo inviting and comfortable. We all slept like babies! - i had a thin pillow for me..i was a happy baby! -The not so good- The ritual of bathing or shower was a task. (We had 2 rooms. I with a bathtub, 1 with a shower) a) The rainshower (rose) starts 1st once you start the shower. So you have cold was hitting your head before you push back the shower handle to turn off the water. Later, even if you know how not to get wet, you cant always remember this each time and you will invariable get the cold water on yr head again! b) Also the hand shower hook up position is rather odd so you cant hook up the shower and scrub down! One hand is constantly busy holding up the shower head. This was a pain for me. I could have used the rain shower but kept forgetting to wear a shower cap. c) Also the bathtub screen could swing to either side which made it seemingly fragile. So one had to careful get in and get out hoping not to slip and fall. Lastly, if you are a light sleeper, make sure your room does not face the tram track. Its noisy. But if you walk as much as we did, you will sleep soundly - regardless! -The delight- Location! Location! Location! I would say, good stay, really. You will love the bed!! Pl see my review of the Hive Hotel to read more about the HOP on HOP off busses of rome. Dont waste yr $$
