Close To Vatican City

Nice place for a short stay in Rome. We were helped by Gianluca and Sergio. The location is really close to a main train station where you can go anywhere you want. You have the Vatican City within minutes of walk. It was really convenient for us to walk and do everything we wanted to do. The place was really clean and the area around full of restaurants and we felt really safe to walk around.
Excellent stay (September 2019)

My wife and I just spent 3 nights at the Vatican Point Break... a real wonderful experience! Upon our arrival, we were slightly confused: the hotel is in a residential tower building, so from the outside, nothing fancy, just a plain building from the 70s, but clean inside. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor (there are elevators). Maria our host greeted us with hospitality and kindness, and explained everything that we needed to know about the hotel, the room and the city (transportation, main sights, etc. - even gave us a map). The hotel has a common area with a large table and a kitchen (microwave, coffee/tea machines, fridge), just keep in mind that for legal reasons the stove cannot be used by the guests. The room that we got was very nice and spacious: large, comfortable queen bed with a big TV. Power outlets for all sorts of countries (Italy, Europe, USA). The bathroom was the best: modern and worthy of a 4-star hotel! Rain shower with non-stop hot water... just awesome. Overall the place is just impeccable, Maria is super clean. The neighborhood is residential and safe, pretty well located: 25 minutes from St Peter's Square (Vatican) by foot, and less than 10 min from metro line A (Cipro or Villa Aurelia), so you're downtown by subway in less than 30 min for a buck fifty... Right around the corner from the hotel, two great places to have breakfast and eat pizza: La Siciliana (strongly recommended: try the cornetto alla crema and their capuccino... it's to die for), and Alice's Pizza - their pizzas are tasty and way cheaper than at the Pizzarium down the street. So if you get a chance, go to VPB: quality/price, hard to beat. Hugs, Pierre & Janai
Very pleasant stay

Room was very clean, modern, with complete amenities (bed & bath linen, toiletries, hair dryer, safe). Breakfast can be prepared for you for 4 euros per person if you reserve in advance. There were many cafes and restaurants nearby. Location is quite a distance from the center (touristy areas) so it is very quiet; about 20 minutes walk to Vatican City. The owner, Gianluca, gave a detailed orientation of the neighborhood and marked places of interest in a map.
Excellent place to stay to visit Rome.

We just returned from Italy and I wanted to write a review for the Vatican Point Break because our hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We also made some last minute changes to our reservation that they accommodated. The room was cleaned each day and the bathroom was updated and very nice. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. There are a couple good places to eat nearby and we walked into Rome to see the Vatican however the bus is very early accessible. We would highly recommend staying here and plan to stay again when we visit.
Superb B&B close to the Vatican

My significant other and I went for a spring break to Roma. Following recommendations we chose to stay at the Vatican Point Break. The hosting is outstanding, Gianluca is an excellent host and very helpfull. Nice sized rooms, very clean and tidy and the breakfast option (cooked personally by Gianluca) is a great find for the price. We already plan to stay here again when we go to Roma soon
