More about the hotel
Worst stay ever - DO NOT VISIT
Do NOT stay at this hotel. I stayed here with a group so we had about 20 hotel rooms. They were all consistently disgusting and out of service. It’s dirty - the tubs and toilets have stains on them that you only get from being left dirty for a long amount of time. The hallways are like a scene out of a horror film and smell of bleach, mildew, and sadness. Half of the outlets in the rooms don’t work. We had to unplug lamps to plug in phone chargers. The walls are paper thin, so I could hear VERY CLEARLY the couple having sex next to my room. And from the hallway. The doors don’t work. To get in, you have to enter the key in multiple times until you get a green light, which no one tells you up front, so you go down to the desk and the RUDE manager Lias tells you “If you don’t get a red light it’s working” and then shrugs his shoulders when you ask him any more questions. Once you do get the door open, it doesn’t close all the way without a pretty significant pull, so it’s very easy to accidentally leave your door open. There are also no Do Not Disturb signs. In at least one room, the smoke detector was covered by a trash bag. Not sure if this was the hotel or a previous guest, but either way should not have still been on there. They also have the cheapest cots. In 4 of our rooms there were cots to accommodate a 3rd student and all of the cots broke. The kids sleeping on each of them couldn’t have weighed more than 100 lbs soaking wet. There were some cots patched back together with trash bags and duct tape. The hotel was wholly unprepared for the amount of guests checking in. Our reservations were made months in advance. It wasn’t a surprise how many people were going to be in each room and how many of us there were. None of the rooms were ready when we got there at 11PM. They had to bring towels up to half the rooms. They hadn’t activated any of the key cards, so everyone had to come back down and have theirs activated. In the morning we were provided breakfast as a deal with the group and the breakfast was NOT ready for the amount of people we had. Again, this was not a surprise. They knew how many we had and couldn’t keep up. 2 of the coffee machines broke (or ran out and they were to cheap/lazy to fix.) But the absolute worst part of this hotel was the manager. As I mentioned before, the manager Lias (medium black hair for a man, wearing a side bag that straps across his chest, about 5’5”) was horrendous. He was rude to everyone who came in contact with him. Not just our group, many others I witnessed checking in. On our second night in the hotel, he mentioned some kids in our group had been jumping from balcony to balcony and this wasn’t allowed. We apologized and said it would not happen again to which he replied “Well I’ll be in that room tonight, so if it happens tonight I’ll just push them off.” Assuming he was joking, I said “well that doesn’t seem like the appropriate reaction.” And he shrugged his shoulders (classic Lias) and nodded his head. I have no doubt in my mind if these kids had done that again he would have pushed them off. He started to walk away and I said to our leader “Make sure you put that in your evaluation.” He then returned to me and asked if I had something to say and he and I got into a verbal argument about how inappropriate it was to threaten people but specifically 17 year old kids’ lives. People had to separate us. I understand there’s a difference in cultures, but this is unacceptable in any scenario. He should be fired. TL;DR: The hotel is dirty, unsafe, and scary, and the manager is a horrible person.
Pleasant but not overwhelming.
Chosen by Tour organizer but was reasonably acceptable. A fair distance to walk to the Rosny Bois Perrier RER station. Room was very clean but the bathroom, though also very clean, was a nightmare! Glass shower door was too short and only covered half the facility resulting in a flood on the main floor - dangerous! Soap dispenser is only in the shower - non at the sink. Forget shaving - the illuminated shaving mirror is shielded by the Hair Drier unit! Redemption comes in the form of a great breakfast buffet.
City trip
Its a nice hotel whit a 15 minut walk to and from the train station to Paris. Located in a small town whit a big mall. Parking is free in front of the hotel. Personel is friendly and will help you if needed. In my experience the bed was really hard but overall a good hotel :)
Location was not great
For a four-star hotel, I feel like it should have been better. It's cheap, and reaching Paris is not too difficult, however the neighboorhood this hotel is situated in was horrible. We already felt unsafe during the day... Luckily, thanks to a friendly bus driver, we didn't have to walk through it during the night on our way back, but if we did, I believe we would have fast walked the entire road. The personnel was quite friendly. We could even park our car in the garage (Which normally has a price) when there was a party and all outdoor places were full. There was one man at the reception however that seemed rather distracted, although friendly. He started by giving us the key to the wrong room and later, when we rang to get inside the garage (about 5 times) he didn't hear this at all and I had to enter and remind him that we were there (which he knew, because I had been there and talked to him about a minute ago). The room was ok. It was clean, sure, but not good enough for a 4-star hotel. The beds were comfortable though, even the field bed one of us had to sleep in. The view of a beautiful concrete-smelling roof was a bit less... The bathroom was large, with good water pressure and warm water. However, it's toilet had a brown stain around it. And the shower was practical, that is, if you like to wash yourself while pushing yourself against the wall, because that's where the shower head was aimed at, not at the actual bath. We didn't try the breakfast or dinner, so I can't say anything about those. In general, the hotel was fine, but not good enough for a 4-star hotel.
Reasonable price
I was stay this hotel for 1 night and my opinion it fine normal hotel but it is a cheap hotel and easy to go to La Vallee village outlet and Disneyland but if you are looking for modern hotel I don’t recommend here
