Rooms are clean, lobby clean, everything comfortable. If you are looking for a warm fuzzy experience this is not the place. Well, let me rephrase...the night staff was good as gold, friendly, helpful and all around good people. Breakfast closed at 9:30, staff was still cleaning I asked for a container of milk, it was a hard NO! Really...isn't this Holiday Inn Express that will help me prepare for my day. OK, no milk. Coffee ran out before 9:30...hard NO.... we will not be making anymore, once it's empty that's it! What? What ever happened to coffee available when you need it? Maybe its a covid thing, don't understand how. Hanging in the lobby waiting for my time to leave, having an adult conversation with friends, the morning clean up staff was rude, banging garbage cans, did everything possible to get us to depart. Finally we couldn't stand the noise and had to leave, really not necessary or pleasant. Too many hotels in the area to visit here again. I am an IHG member and have never experienced this before.
Met All Expectations

When you stay at a hotel you expect that it is clean, comfortable, quiet, and has good costumer service. Our expectations were met during our recent experience at this hotel. We would stay here again.

Many of the guests do not wear masks at HIE Alpharetta-Roswell. And why should they when the front desk staff are not wearing a mask. I was checked in and out by a mask free employee. There are signs saying guests are required to wear a mask and there is a "pledge" that employees will wear a mask when interacting with customers. So much for the pledge at this location. It makes sense the guests will not wear a mask if the employees refuse to do so. My experience at this HIE was in sharp contrast to the supermarkets in the area where all employees are wearing a mask and 95+% of the customers are. If you lead by example, the customers will follow. On the bright side, my room was clean, quiet and modern. The location is excellent, near 400 but far enough away to be quiet. I avoided the lobby including breakfast to avoid the maskless crowd. Also it was not a grab and go breakfast which does not make sense during these difficult times. As per the hotel website: What you can expect during your stay Face masks required for guests in public areas Face masks required for staff in public areas

The room was very nice and clean. It had that 'new' smell to it so I am not sure if it was recently built or remodeled. It is very close to the mall. I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast because I needed Starbucks which is just down the street. Would definitely stay there again.
It was an uncomfortable stay

The room was ok, but for usd135 per night, not value for money. Internet was not working, it had no restaurant, the hotel had no room service or even some food to buy from the reception that was for vegans or vegetarian. They are using a lot of single use plastic products and nothing about the hotel was environment friendly. In an era where we are all fighting the war against plastic, holiday inn is just not bothered about doing anything for the cause, it seems.
