Five Star Family Hotel

Opinión escrita el 17 de octubre de 2022

Words cannot describe….We had such an amazing experience here! Every staff member was very wonderful and accommodating! The food was good at the buffet but even better at the restaurant on the beach where we had Excellent service and food! In love with the focaccia 😍Also came with wonderful local wine recommendations! We had booked for 2 nights originally and decided after arriving that it was just too beautiful to leave so we stayed a third night. They have a spa for the adults and a spa for the kids. A gym for the adults and a gym for the kids! This place is like no other! We will definitely be back - we left our ♥️ in Croatia!

Lovely hotel

Opinión escrita el 20 de septiembre de 2022

We were tempted to stay at Amarin Family Hotel because of location close to Rovinj. I can say quite honestly that the hotel, gardens, food and beach area is very very good, also they have wonderful young staff who are so friendly and efficient. The shuttle bus (no charge) to Rovinj is great and the timetable good, the water ferry is also good if a little pricey. As we went as a couple we were disappointed that there was no separate dining area for couples only as the noise in the dining room every meal time was loud!! Even though we have grandchildren of our own at home it would have been nice to have some quiet time while dining. However on the whole it is classed as a family hotel and it definitely is much better suited to families with small children. Thank you to hotel and staff for our lovely room 360 and for a very happy holiday. D&S.C

Family holiday August 22

Opinión escrita el 29 de agosto de 2022

This hotel is super if you have small children. I really don’t think you will find much better, the hotel has thought of everything. There is a lot on offer to keep the children entertained. I would highly recommend for under 12’s. We were travelling with teenagers and felt that we should have visited a few years earlier to get the most out of this hotel. As it is aimed at small children there isn’t much to do in the evening past 9 pm. Our family enjoyed the pool, beach and water sports on offer which are actually very reasonably priced. About £10 for a hour hire of a kayak. The hotel organised a private kayak excursion for us around the islands which was very good value for money and we would recommend for a family with older children. We utilised the free shuttle bus from the hotel a couple of evenings to Rovinj which is beautiful and well worth spending time. The water ferry is fun but for the 4 of us (adult prices) it worked out about £40 for a return trip, so used the free bus more! Breakfast and dinner are buffet style in the main restaurant Marvellous and you have the option of having lunch at the beach bar, which is well worth doing to have a change from the buffet and nice to have table service. Our only thought was that it would be nice to have one meal at the grill bar included in your stay as good as the food was buffet everyday does get repetitive. But again, perfect for small Children. I have to say the quality of food offered is very good. The staff on the whole were friendly and helpful. It was our daughters 15 th birthday whilst away and the hotel organised a cake, balloons and a small gift which was very well received and very kind of them. The rooms were spacious and the hotel was kept very clean and maintained well. The indoor spa area is a bonus and great for a escape for a hour or so. Children under 16 are not allowed in this area. As much as we all love spending time with our families it is nice to have a hour to ourselves! There is a sauna, plunge pool and chill room. The beach is stoney but the water is gorgeous. Beach shoes are definitely recommended. Next to the hotel is a large campsite that has a small supermarket, good for buying large packs of water and snacks etc. Overall a fabulous stay.

A wonderful family stay

Opinión escrita el 21 de agosto de 2022

Stayed in August 2022 as a family of 4 (2 kids, 2 and 6). We originally booked a suite but on arrival had been given a premium family room (which as basically two adjoining rooms with a connecting door which suited us fine) with a fantastic sea view on the top floor. We had a superb week. The staff are lovely and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well thought out, activities and things to do for the kids are awesome and the food is very good. You have to pay for your drinks (bar water and juice) but this is fine - you don’t need to carry cash as the bracelet system they have lets you charge straight to the room. We loved being able to borrow the scooters from the kids club and explore the local grounds (a couple of nice bars on the front nearby) and our kids loved the beaches and the playgrounds (just be careful mid day as the equipment gets very hot). Thoroughly recommend both marsea and lovor, we had excellent meals there and marsea is included in your package for lunch which is really handy from the beach. We also loved the pools with slides, the blue net in the lobby, and the small touches like the availability of booster cushions, the peg boards in the rooms, the mini bath robes for the kids and the fact you can have equipment in your room when you check in like potty, bottle warmer, monitor etc is such a helpful idea. It really is well thought out. The water taxi into rovinj is great, and the town is beautiful. If we return to pula, we would definitely rebook this place while the kids are small. I’m not sure I would go back with teens, but if you have under 12s, this place is magnificent. This hotel is a really well thought out concept. If I had a couple of minor (very minor) suggestions, it would be ; 1 - to improve the soundproofing (maybe a second inner door?)from the corridors to the rooms. Different nationalities go to bed at different times, and when your two year old naps in the day it can be a little loud when someone runs past having fun. 2- a shop for basics on the hotel site. The only one is in the campsite area which is a little difficult to find and a bit of a trek in the heat if you need to carry water etc. 3 - a better table on the balconies - the one provided is tiny and means you can’t play cards etc

the best family hotel in Europe. great for active people that love sport. The beaches are amazing. Service, food, drinks all TOP quality. The children LOVE the program in Kids club, so parents can take some time off. Rovinj is also beautiful city with lots to do and see.
