Cheap and cheerful, you really get what you pay for!

Its not overpriced and the breakfast is really great, if you want more then ask (and pay a little extra) but normal people wont!! Not sure about Dinner but there are pleanty of alternatives around. Room we had (9) was adequate and shower worked well, if light stops you sleeping then ask for a room at the rear as the frontage is floodlight all night. No appreciable noise from the bar below, even at first floor level. Overnight parking us free until 8AM, then you have two hours before getting sting for a ticket
Cheap but far from cheerful.

Quite a tricky place to find combined as it is with TJs downstairs, the hotel entrance is deftly concealed. The first big disappointment for us was the incredibly steep stairs to get our room at the top of the hotel. It left you gasping, When we got to the room we found it to be quite cramped, a huge tub chair which just got in the way, the shower room was cramped too constantly knocking your elbows on the cubicle sides, you had to sit on the loo at an angle.which was uncomfortable, the room carpet was grubby and needed a good hoovering, some of the electric sockets were wobbly, The worst bit though was the bed. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable, wobbling all over the place at the slightest movement. We had to ask for more pillows as the ones there were flat as pancakes. The curtains were tired and grubby. The room wasn’t serviced even though it was on offer and was requested. it should be classed as a single room. The staff were pleasant enough and the breakfast was good value and it was included in the price. It needs a good overhaul. Looking at reviews from a few years ago it seems nothing has changed.
Great town centre spot with nearby cheap parking

Great value for money. All the important things are clean and tidy. Carpet is tired, but clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location two mins walk from the centre and cheap parking nearby at P10 location (well sign posted , from the front of the hotel go to the lights and turn left) £1.50 from 6pm till 11am the next day . Great breakfast in the downstairs bar.

To say disappointed is probably an understatement From no on site car parking (I had to park in a pay and display a couple of streets away) to the room itself, I was underwhelmed A small room with only 1 double socket in the room and a long way from the bed head. The bed was not the most comfortable with only one pillow and the mattress was dipping away to one side at the bottom (probably because there was no chair so you had to sit on the bed to use the dressing table mirror. The en-suite was awkwardly small and the wc flush was not the right one for the cistern. The shower, whilst hot and with a good shower head, was leaking from both ends of the hose which lead to the shower mat becoming soaked before I even stepped onto it. Very polite staff though

Now from the title of my review it would seem as though I probably don't have a lot of positive things to say about my stay in this hotel and this is not the case. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights for our holiday to Leamington Spa and had an amazing time. The hotel is very affordable considering the fact we were 4 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from town. I didn't want to pay very much because I knew that I wouldn't be in the room a lot to make the most of an expensive room, as I had a very busy holiday planned. The times that I was in the room was good for the majority of the time. The bed is comfortable and the staff are very friendly, the main room is immaculately clean and I think it is very quiet even though it is above the bar and by a road. However there are also a number of things that let it down from not being a brilliant room: -This isn't exactly the hotels fault, but the room we were in was quite high up and the stairs are a nightmare if you have lots of luggage like we do -Need more pillows on the bed -The light gets in under the curtains, so as soon as it's morning, you know about it -The bathroom needs better cleaning -The shower is very confusing and not very good -Things kept breaking in the room, like the kettle and the sink plug kept getting stuck. We did appreciate the quick service to sorting out our broken kettle though, again the staff are very lovely and helpful -When booking the room I was promise a hairdryer online, but there wasn't one, so I asked for one and they said they didn't have any, which isn't very good as it was falsely advertised -In the middle of the night (3-4am?) we had random people unlock our door and walk into our room. Not sure if it was staff or what, but it was inconvenient and direspectful and was actually the main reason why this star rating was knocked down to three Overall though these points did not ruin my stay and I actually liked the room for the time I was in it, which wasn't enough. Perhaps if I was using the room more often I wouldn't have been quite so pleased. The main point that I liked though is it is cheap and very well situated and because of that fact we will be coming back to stay when we inevitably visit Leamington Spa again, and we think that the issues we had are probably just unlucky and we will have an even better stay next time!
