At a small village road

Situated outside Rüdesheim at a small village road with stone paving, You need to ask for a room at the back side if you want a quiet room. Our room had good beds but no heating in the bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good parking.

I have debated whether to give this hotel 4 or 5 stars. We went in the low season, meaning we were the only ones at the hotel. The check-in was not smooth, everything was dark and it took a while for someone to answer, that's the reason I thought about giving it a 4 but with no tourists and no one else around is unfair to expect them to be waiting for us. But after that it was great. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We were treated really well. Parking is plenty. Keep in mind that if you come in the low season (winter) it's hard to find an open restaurant
Nice, Friendly, and Quiet

We booked this Gasthof for a long weekend because we visited the winery that is also part of the place last autumn. The place is family-driven and that shines through. The atmosphere is really nice and they care about their visitors ensuring that you get a nice and relaxing stay. There are also good possibilities for hiking in the area. We hiked from Aulhausen to Rüdesheim and back - and it doesn't require any equipment - apart from water and good shoes.
Most helpful owner, pleasant room and food.

We stayed two nights here, and on our arrival the owner, Thilo carried our case to our room, which overlooked fields, and had a balcony. It was a large room with good clean facilities, with bright furnishings. Our dinner and breakfast was served in the capacious bar and restaurant, the only odd thing I found was that we had to pay for our dinners after we had eaten, it was not added to our stay, which I find is the normal pattern.

We stayed here as part of our topdeck tour This was one of our first nights and i truly enjoyed my stay here. The service was great, they even put up with our late night card games. The rooms were spacey and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was average. The meal was really good also, and the drinks were super cheap. The only let down was the wine tasting as i felt like a bit more effort could have been put into the explantation of what we were drinking and why it was made the way it was. Otherwise a really enjoyable stay.
