I stay at Marriotts all over the country and this is probably the worst one I have ever stayed at. The hotel has not been updated and our room smelled of old cigarette smoke. I have never experienced this at a Marriott, but the room just didn't feel clean. Also, the front desk staff was sooo UNWELCOMING. This was just unacceptable behavior. There was a line of several people when we arrived to check-in, and the hotel desk employee was cold and plain rude (and also SLOW, but making time to converse with other staff?) to everyone in line. When the line was virtually gone, she finally called out another employee (the manager?) who seemed as if she had been sleeping, and was also cold and rude. After a very long day of travel, we just wanted to get to what should be a home away from home - not treated as if we were bothering them. It was unbelievable really and I just can't believe these people are in the HOSPITALITY industry. Awful, I do not recommend, and when in this area, we will NEVER EVER stay here again.
Very Friendly Staff

Just needed a hotel for the night on a road trip and this was a convenient location and price. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Had an issue getting the TV work and the bed was a bit softer than I would like but otherwise a pleasant stay.
Between average and very good.

Between average and very good. Nice clean hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Fridge, no microwave. There is a MW in the lobby. Nice bar and Starbucks onsite. Food from the banquet hall kitchen was very good. Could not get my Firestick to work with the TV. The special hotel TV menu shows an option for HDMI input. I suspect it's for a port that is on the box hidden behind the desk. I could not access it and did not want to start moving furniture around to get to it. Since travelers with personal streaming devices is becoming more common, it would be nice to have access to this special port. Netflix, Prime and a few others are available via the hotel tv system Elevator is way toooooo SLOW. Sound damping between the walls and rooms seems to be very good. In other hotels, it's not uncommon to hear some noise between rooms. I did not hear any noise from any neighbor. Big plus in my book.
Nondescript Hotel in Nondescript Area

We spent one night at the Courtyard Sacramento Airport Natomas while on a road trip and had a good experience. Saturday night check-in was surprisingly busy but service was efficient. Our room was in order for the night, and we left the following morning without any issues. The hotel is surrounded by a bunch of office parks. The hotel, much like the setting, is very bland. I imagine that this hotel was remodeled exactly to corporate specs 15 or so years ago and has an extremely average vibe as a result. The airport label is a bit perplexing since there are so many hotels, even Marriotts, closer to the airport. I think they use it is an excuse to charge $7.50 for parking rather than just include it in the room rate. Nonetheless, the price was right (even with the parking charge) for a road trip stop.
Awesome Staff and Very Clean

Reserved two rooms for the four of us. Both were clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The only concern is the large homeless encampment on the other side of the road. The hotel does not have security guard service at night and requests all guests to put a parking pass on their dash. When I asked why they said so they can contact you if your car is broken into...which they told me happens "only" once or twice a month. I was also told they don't have security cameras in the parking lot. Security guards are expensive, yes, but I would have slept better knowing someone was keeping an eye on things.
