Amazing hotel personnel
Great and affordable hotel. Loved the closeness to the downtown. The staffs were super amazing. I need to give the following staff 10/10 for professional service and personality, All these associates went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. The staff was enforcing COVID sanitation procedures throughout the property. Overall, an amazing experience and will return in the near future. Thank you!!
Charming hotel, (but the plastic)
Pros: The location is perfect. We enjoyed walking around Sacramento and seeing the capital building and park. Our hotel room was clean and charming and very comfortable. Cons: Little plastic shampoos/conditioners bottles. I don't know why otherwise conscientious hotels are still doing this. There will soon be more plastic in the ocean than there are fish. Having a soap/shampoo dispensary in the shower is so modern and convenient and ecofriendly.
Marlynn is what makes this place special!
I have stayed here a handful of times when I am in town for quick business. Nothing fancy but does the job. Great and convenient location. Parking is first come first serve however, I have never had a problem finding a spot but just know it's not guaranteed! My biggest gripe would be the beds. They just really aren't that comfy. And one of the rooms I got had a lopsided bed making me fee inverted. The highlight of this place though and why I am even taking a moment to review is because of the amazing breakfast attendant, Marlynn! If it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't have come back. She is attentive, hospitable, super friendly and talkative, and just an all around joy to be around. Her spirit is infectious! Such a rarity in this world. Marlynn, I hope you are doing ok during these really trying times! Anyway, If you are in town, make sure you check this place out or at least go say hi to Marlynn! Trust me, you will be glad you did!
Nice place to stay. Good service and clean.
Breakfast in the courtyard is first rate - nothing fancy but very good. Complements to Marlynn Smith for her attention to detail and friendly service. The building with the inner courtyard is quite nice and airy.
Nice property with super location
This was a great find. Friendly staff (including best breakfast attendant ever), lots of nearby restaurants, a block off the capital mall, and reasonable parking. The room was comfortable and clean though on the small side. We will hope to stay here next time in Sacramento.
