Negative 20 stars if I could! STAY AWAY!

Not only is a s*tty hotel but these people stole my deposit and refused to give it back. I was made to pay cash, never received a receipt and the following morning when I checked out they claimed I never paid cash, but had no record of me paying with card?! How does that work?! You can’t book a room without a deposit. Anyhow, I went back to the hotel several times after my stay and received no help. The person who checked me in denied the entire transaction, and the manager reviewed footage and claimed there was “no way to determine how it was paid”. Disgusting! This happened a while back and honestly still boils my blood, there’s NOTHING I hate more than a business that operates without integrity.

So i ended up booking this hotel only because it was close to the MetLife Stadium where a concert was going on (the only reason for travel) i took my two sisters, i wasn’t going to the concert myself so when i did research i saw they had a pool and restaurant etc, and the rooms were decent size and cleaned (online pics) i never saw the reviews on trip-advisor or else i wouldn’t have booked. THE HOTEL IS DISGUSTING. First the lobby was dirty, smelled of cigarettes and piss, the rooms were TERRIBLY DISGUSTING. Sheets were dirty and stained, towels were stained and had hair on them, hair in the sink, toilet made funny noises every time it was flushed and leaked, i also asked for a rollaway bed, charged me 15$ a night the mattress was soooo paper thin, no blanket or pillow. Fridges and microwaves were NOT in room and were extra money per night if you wanted one. I asked for extra towels to replace dirty ones and got one only. The rooms were dark and lamps had no outlets to plug in. Couldnt call front desk, went downstairs around 2pm to ask for a rollaway switch for a thicker mattress and pillow and was told of course, an hour later called again, was told it was the middle of a shift change that maintenance will take care once he gets here, 5 HOURS later nothing, I’m pissed off, called front desk, she told me theres no more rollaways or pillows... WTF. NO restaurant and the pool was closed on the weekends.. never heard of a hotel business closing the pool on weekends but OK (been working in the hotel industry since i was 16). I had to buy utensils from a vending machine, and the machine kept eating my money, terrible experience, AC was on but never worked, ice machine was so tiny and no scoop to take it out. This is a great hotel property, they need to upgrade and get new staff. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY NOT EVEN ONE NIGHT!!!

Don’t do it! Filthy

I will start by saying the staff was friendly even though the hotel was busy. I’ve worked in the hotel industry before so I definitely get a lot of things can go wrong on busy nights but I believe my bad experience was just due to laziness both in the cleaning and management part. When we first arrived we were not allowed to check in yet (understandably we were early) so my sister and I went to use the lobby bathroom. Warning #1: There was no toilet paper beside one roll that we shared and there was no soap, hand towels, or air dryer. There was a disgusting glob of used toilet paper in one of the sinks. This was before we even checked in. Warning #2: When you got up to our floor, before we even got to the room, the hallway stank of piss and cigarettes. Warning # 3, 4, and 5: We walked in our room and the first thing I noticed was a huge hole in the wall that look like they used a cardboard box to cover over it with. The beds were made with these nasty thin floral print sheets that look like sheets from my grandmas house that she keeps in a box as a keepsake from when my dad and uncles were kids(i.e. old as hell). The mattress was about 3 inches thick and could feel the box springs as well as probably and every bug through the material. Nevertheless, somehow it wasn’t a complete dealbreaker yet. We opened the curtains to see the little balcony and there was a nice pile of poop sitting there waiting for us. That was a nice surprise! It was also no air conditioning. There was an old system that was attached to the wall but no way to turn it on and it was humid. We also realized no fridge, microwave, or utensils after we had bought food for overnight. Maybe that was my bad for not checking but it was just the icing 🎂. Overall it was definitely an experience my sisters and I laughed about and I’m not the type to complain or take the time usually to write a review but I wanted to write one anyway so that no one else will be inconvenienced with reasonable expectations not being met.

The worst hotel I ever checked in to!

Reviewed 27 april, 2019

I booked this hotel thru When I checked in I asked about the lounge and was informed that the bar hadn't been open in years. Neither was the restaurant nor the pool. When I go to my room is smelled of smoke and the smoke detector was hanging by its wires! I immediately checked out and went to a nearby hotel. The only way to described this place is that it's a run down s...hole! My Jersey friends told me that this hotel is Section 8 housing - government-funded low income housing assistance. Stay away.

This hotel was 3 stars on Priceline. It is so filthy, dusty and dirty. Coffee (drink) on the walls in 4 spots. The wall beside the bed was dirty and had liquid stains running down the wall. Old toothpaste and soap all over the sink. The curtains had stains all over. The show curry was also filthy and the floor between the bed had crumbs all over. That’s just the beginning. It was late when we arrived and were exhausted. I cleaned with Clorox wipes I keep in my car. We booked for 2 nights and I already booked somewhere else for tomorrow. I can’t even sleep. The pics don’t do it justice. I’ve stayed in some bad places but this is the absolute worst
