Trying to be Satisfied

A quick get away on the Harley to social distance during the pandemic. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Take and go breakfast was mediocre. Booked a room with a balcony to relax with a glass in the afternoon, very disappointed...the view was of a large roll off dumpster overflowing with garbage. Rooms very clean, but a bit dated. A phone in the bathroom ???😅. We planned to eat in the Manor house restaurant across the streets and was saddened to find it closed permanently in Dec 2020. Hotel offered a limited menu in a on sight restaurant...we did not try it out.
Expected much better quality!

Was given a room on the first floor on a corner. Terrible loud above until 3am. Asked for a another room for the second night and given one right next to the elevator. Requested another change then given a room with a balcony that was supposed to be non smoking, but the balcony had a giant ash tray that was full and the room smelled like smoke. The toilet had also not been cleaned and there were you know what stains when you lifted the lid. After three tries we decided to leave.
Nice place, comfortable stay

We enjoyed our one night here. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are large and clean and the folks working the desk were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a little slow as the person at the desk was trying to resolve a reservation issue. After a short wait, the manager came and took over the problem and allowed the clerk to check us in. We were on the 2nd floor and it was nice to have a luggage cart to bring everything to our room in one trip. Breakfast was much better than most "free" breakfasts with sausages, eggs, biscuits and gravy plus the usual fruit, breads, cereals etc. We were very comfortable here and enjoyed our stay very much. The only complaint I had is that the shower head didn't work very well.

The room is out of the early 1980’s it’s clean but everything is at least 30 years old, the furnishings, the carpets, the moldy smell. You have to shower in the dark, The casitas as they call them are cleaner than a motel but I wouldn’t have brought my kids here if I’d known what we were in for, the mold smell is awful
Worst stay ever

We booked a room in this hotel to celebrate our granddaughters birthday. We were swimming at the pool no one else was in the pool area we had 9 people the hotel manager came in and immediately had an attitude yelling at members of my family. The only child was my granddaughter we were being quiet. Worst display of manners by a hospitality employee I have ever seen. The rooms are dated and not very clean. I will never stay at this hotel
