Do not go here!!!

Hotel horrendous! Middle of nowhere but the biggest disappointment is the food or lack of it! 2 choices on the menu and if you choose the pork option? It will still be oinking at you on your plate its that raw! Complained to the manager to no avail and this didnt come cheap! Extortionate prices for no choice and poor food. Stayed here for one night which was 24 hrs too long. Avoid avoid avoid!!!! Would not return if they paid me. Would give this this a zero rating if i could.
Mostly very good

We found the hotel without difficulty. They contacted us in advance with the code for the car park barrier which was a helpful and thoughtful touch.
We arrived early and asked if our room might be ready; we were told it was not which was understandable but we were disappointed that no call was made to housekeeping to check or to see if our room could be prioritised; on inquiring again, close to 3pm check-in time, such a call was made and confirmed that the room was not ready; we waited in reception but no-one told us that the room was ready and, ultimately, it was well after 3pm that we got our room. We saw guests waiting for check-in beyond 3pm the following day.
The hotel decor is stylish and the room was attractively presented, clean and well-designed - compact but everything worked (except for one of the showers which leaked so we couldn't use it). The bathroom opens directly onto the bedroom but affords enough privacy (and the toilet is separate). There was a nice balcony with some super views including great sunsets. Housekeeping was a bit erratic - face towels one day, not the next; no tissues one day, so many the following day that the dispenser wouldn't close - but everything that really mattered was fine. Tea / coffee making facilities are provided but no mini-bar / fridge. The room was quiet (when kids weren't running up and down the corridor), the air conditioning worked fine, the bed was comfortable and we slept well.
The pool area is nice and we always found sun loungers and were comfortable. Access to the pool is controlled by a fob; we were given one, attached to our room key; this was a bit inconvenient when we wanted to go to the pool at separate times.
The hotel is located right next to a nice beach and is within an easy walk of a couple of restaurants and a mini market but not much more.
We ate at the restaurant a couple of times. Despite a lot of apparent attention at the hotel to wellness, and dietary advice on the menu, there was only one gluten-free starter and one main, and the latter was a puff pastry vegetarian option. This was supplemented by a daily menu but that lacked dietary advice so we booked dinner not knowing our options. The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. It transpired that there was always a gluten-free option amongst the daily mains even if that meant foregoing a sauce. The quality of the food and wines were good. The situation next to the beach was lovely (although you cannot see the sea as the dunes block the view). Breakfast was fine but unremarkable and felt very frenetic so we only took it once.
Overall, whilst we felt the hotel and restaurant could make improvements, we enjoyed our stay and would probably be happy to stay again.
Nice quiet apartments.

We have just returned from a 4-night break at Les Bulles de Mer apartments in St. Cyprien in the south of France and were pleased with the level of facilities in the apartments and adjoining hotel. What we did find lacking though was a toaster and oven which would have made life easier. We had an adjoining apartment with our son and his family which was good as we could pop into each other's accommodation and socialise while their daughter was in bed.
The apartments had a beautiful view of the inland waterway and marina but , due to the extreme windy conditions, there was no movement of boats. All the locals were telling us that the wind would last 3 or 4 days but, unfortunately, this coincided with our stay. What also was missing was the beachfront bar/cafe/restaurant which was pictured on the web-site. There was one about half a mile away which we visited once but got sand-blasted!
Our visit was badly timed as it was out of season. The local bus service did not start until July and the Aqua park did not open until June. There was no shop on the premises so when we needed supplies it was quite a trek to the nearest supermarket. There was a spa in the hotel but was quite expensive so we did not use it.
The hotel pool was nice but, although heated, was fairly cold. We had it to ourselves most of the time and the good thing was that they did not enforce the "speedo" rule. Overall a pleasant stay but if we went back we would go later in the summer.

This hotel has facilities which are shared by the adjacent apartments. The pool looked perfect for us on the internet. So we rented an apartment for a week. We arrived on Saturday evening and the hotel closed on Sunday morning.
The apartment is okay, the removal of all the hotel facilities is not.
It’s a long walk to the next hotel restaurant, you need a car for the nearest supermarket, there is no alternative pool.......you get the idea.
To add insult to injury on our arrival we were given a price list for meals, told we could book the spa and could use the pool. At new point did anyone say, by the way we are closing tomorrow.
Another holiday ruined, by inaccurate web details.
The trip advisor team have suggested that I am confused about the hotel. I have included a copy of the card we were given with our room key. Not only is this article right, but now there are workmen on site tearing out the bathrooms and throwing the rubble down into the skip below.
Hard to sleep with the noise of this
Restaurant les Ganivelles - well worth a visit
Reviewed 24 October, 2018
We tried the Restaurant les Ganivelles for dinner during the Tous au Restaurants" promotion but cannot find it listed on TA. As it is the restaurant of Les Bulles de Mer, this seems the best place for my review.
We were greeted by a charming lady who seated us by a window looking out onto the lagoon. The service was by a variety of staff. It was a bit strange with no plates for bread and having to ask for water but everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The food was delicious with lovely flavours and presentation. The wine list was nice and a good price.
Strangely, after asking, we paid our bill at the bar. I guess the restaurant is usually just for hotel guests.
Although we did not see the bedrooms of the hotel, the public areas were beautifully decorated, the hotel was in a great location for the beach and the staff were all very friendly. If we didn't have our boat in the marina to sleep on, we would definitely like to stay at this lovely hotel.
